I'm pretty sure that goes for every region.

The 13th is in the same boat as the 15th. They are struggling and no one wants to change with them. Maybe they will change with each other or just stay in this year. I hate seeing the same referees in the region, love to see them switch with someone else. I think the 14th and 12th are exchanging again.

East is playing well. 3 horse race in this region. East, West, and of course Elliott

Why is Valley not scoring any more points against a team like Betsy Layne? Is Justice not playing well yet, getting back from his injury?

Final. Close game, lot of people picked Lynn Camp in this one. But was this really an upset?

Final! Lee struggles to get away from Powell for 3 quarters, Powell plays well, let it slip away in the 4th.

This was an awsome game to be a at! Both teams laid it all on the line and the Commodores came out on top in this one. Look forward to another meeting later on down the road between these two teams.

Both games tonight are televised on wymt! Tomorrow will also be on tv. I have to go with Perry at home tonight, they need to find a little more offense to go with there defense they are playing though. Hazard will also get revenge on a previous loss to Knott this year. If this happens, it will also be interesting to see Perry and Hazard in the finals with all the stuff that has happened lately between these two in county schools. Good luck to all 4 teams, should be fun to watch!

Ouch, what a week, lot of close games! Your still leading now overall Professor due to my lack of points this week.

The two boys, Hall and Collins, didn't get eligible at Knott and had to come back to JBS to play, so I'm sure they decided to go another year at JBS. Don't look for them to have athletics next year, but you never know.

Wow, looks like Letcher if getting into basketball shape. With a blowout win against Estill and Jbs, they are looking like they are right back in the running for the 14th along with Hazard, Perry and a little tired Knott County team. Should be a great Wymt tourney, especially if they all can win their first round games and make an all 14th semi final.

Was hoping that Knott would of pulled this one out so them and Perry would of played tomorrow. Would love to see these two 14th region teams match up. Maybe next week in the WYMT tourney, hopefully.

Nice win for the Lady Owls, hope Peyton is okay! Maybe she can get some much needed rest over the holidays!!!

That is probably because he played his summer ball with Knott Central, he tried to transfer of to KNott with Tate Cox and Garrison Collins. Cox got eligible and the other two didn't so they went back to JBS. If KNott would of had Hall or Collins or both on the inside, they would definitely be ranked top 5 in the state. But with just the two guards, it will be tough for them to come out of the 14th, but showed last night it is possible! Going to be a great January and February.

Does anyone know when and if this will happen?? I have heard a lot of talk about this becoming a reality this year. Just wondering are they going to vote on it or when they plan on talking about it.

Had to go with something different than everyone else. Got to like those upsets!

I have to say there are way to many games, but there is a happy medium between the two that the KHSAA can come up with. The bye week would be a good start, maybe cutting down on the number of games in Basketball could be good too. I think they are talking about doing basketball in June only and football in July only for camps and stuff. Would be a great thing to go through with if you ask me. They do need to do something, this stuff going on right now is ridiculous!

Will be another buzzer beater. Sure wish I could be there to see this one. Lee by 2.

Maybe at a few schools, but Basketball pays for a lot more schools programs than football. I'm sure those big football schools probably could fund programs on one game a week. Basketball can play 3 or 4 a week and make a lot more money than football programs do. Also it doesn't cost near as much to run a basketball program. The cost alone to run a football team takes a lot of the money generated at the gates, unless you have a good fundraising program or boosters club.
