She hurt her ankle, but from what I hear she was able to move it up and down and sideways. It sounds like it is a sprain. Hopefully that's all it is and she will be back soon.

She's averaging over 20 ppg, and is a good rebounder and shot blocker. It would be a huge loss if the Lady Owls lost this terrific freshman for the season.

I called the school today and was told that Peyton had a "light sprain", and was walking. Sounds like she's going to be okay in a few days.

The Lady Owls are in the 16 team Berea tournament beginning tonight. They play University Heights in the first round. They'll have some time to enjoy the holidays after the tournament ends this weekend.
