50 pts? Is Ballard beating anyone else that bad?

Best first round match up looks like SK and Henry Clay. Though opening game for both teams

I cant say that any team really stands out as the favorite. This tourny is loaded though and should be great to watch. Whoever wins this definitly makes a huge early season statement.

Why fill a spot in this tourny with a team like that? They couldnt get somebody better than that to come? There are more than a few teams within the state that could have been better.

Grant Co had no one to match up with Hurd in the middle. They tried playing zone for most of the game but Simon Kenton did a good job of being patient and making sure they got the ball inside to him. He might have had a triple double. He seemed to block a ton of shots in this game.

I have a question. Is Wade actually starting this year for Shelby? I know last year he was coming off the bench in the regionals and looking at the KOB website they didnt have him marked as a starter. Just wondering if this was a blunder or one of the top ten players in Kentucky according to Rick Bolus isnt even starting.

It might be in the back of your mind but I doubt the SK boys think about that too much. Besides they havent beat Holmes in a long time either and they did this year and I believe Holmes is a slightly better basketball team than Dixie. If Simon Kenton comes to play they should win this game by double figures no problem. If not I still believe their seniors will find a way to pull it out.

Carrying his team? Didnt they lose? One heck of an effort and game by the future Mr Basketball no doubt.

I like Holy Cross in this one. After the tough schedule they have had so far I think they are ready and should be hungry for a win.

Scott should handle Silver Grove. Pelle is an excellent ball player but cant do it all.

I was actually refering to this Williamstown game and the upcoming games leading into the 5/3.

For SK's sake I hope Dixie does give them a good game. If not that might walk into the 5/3 asleep after this one the Grant Co. game and Walton. I would think you would like your team to have some sort of hard fought game where the starters actually play before going into a tourney like this.

SK did nothing wrong in this game. They could of put up 125 to 150 pts if they wanted to. As for the 13 pts, sorry if the Pioneers didnt step aside and just let Williamstown have layup lines. It's not SK's fault that Williamstown is that bad.

Any of the 4 teams if they play well can beat any team in this tournament. How awesome would it be if it was a NKY final four huh? A little far fetched but possible.

SK sure has the toughest path in this one.

Conner is a tough team. Could sneak up and shock a couple teams this year. #21 is very tough down low.

Shouldnt even of went to this one. SK won 69-13. I actually felt bad for the Williamstown kids. Most of whom didnt even seem like they wanted to be there. I think Junior Varsity took over for SK in the 2nd quarter.

Thats not what I meant. He's 6'7 I just dont think Austin is going to be guarding him. Jeff is a different player than Josh Hurd. Hurd stays cemented down in the post and Brooks can hurt you from outside and inside.

Mason Co. didnt destroy SK. They only kept score for each quarter and reset the the score after each. Each team made alot of substitutions and never really went at it starting 5 against starting 5. And Hester didnt even play until the 2nd quarter and didnt ever go all out. That was no gauge of what these two teams really are. Darius seemed to be their biggest player and he was struggling trying to guard Hurd. They have some really good shooters on that team but Holmes even without Duran can beat them.

You do know Brooks is 6'7.
