Best QB Ever at your School
Dunbar-Ben Meighan (clearly)

Dear KHSAA,
Best post on this subject ever! I agree completely. The change works out for everyone. Players, coaches, schools, the KHSAA, fans, and the uprising interest in football in Kentucky.

2007/2008 Paul Dunbar
Really good coach, just doesn't have the size yet to compete. Very quick. Can make up for the lack of size.

Tates Creek vs. Dunbar Predictions
Creek. Am I really saying this? WOW! Things have really changed. How the mighty have fallen.

Woodford County's Shawnie Lewis
Hats of to Shawne. Hopefully he will get recruited by some schools.

That makes no sense. Coaches develop players. Players don't just come to high school ready to play on a varsity level. They have everything in the building and the school district that the two state semi teams had. When your running game is designed around one guy and the passing game is too, that's the coaches fault, nobody elses. They did the same thing at East. One or two athletes were the whole offense. If you say they don't have any or as much talent, why is the Defense good?

To answer your ? as to if it was a problem in previous years. The answer is no, regardless of what any poster may say.

This is a weak excuse for Dunbar's recent lack of success. The two years we went to the semifinals, their wasn't a practice field either. A passing game can be taught in a parking lot, etc.. All you need is about 30 yards to teach a reciever how to run routes. There's a baseball field with a large outfield at the school and it's not baseball season. In year's past, soccer has practiced in the baseball outfield and at a local park. No rock and a hard place for practice. Must be something else.

Just unable to score against decent teams. At least not enough to win the last two games. Not having a passing game in their offense hurts them a WHOLE LOT.

Best players not to win Mr. Football
A run doesn't guarantee an award of such a high standard. Why do you refer to the run as Brandon and Boyle Co.? That TEAM was great. A number of people could've had that run with that team under Smith at Boyle Co.. In your honest opinion. Is Brandon Smith the best Boyle player ever?

Best players not to win Mr. Football
I think Chase may have an arguement or two about that statement.

Best players not to win Mr. Football
Brandon Smith is not better than Curtis Pulley. He did have a better team, and a better coach. You can say whatever you want to about the TEAMS playing head to head, but if you judging athletes, Pulley wins. Brandon was good, but if you were going to argue talented players between Boyle and Hopkinsville, you'd be better off using Jeff Duggins, probably one of Boyle's best players ever.

Johnson Central vs Bryan Station Predictions
I second that. Where is the game being played?

Best players not to win Mr. Football
Ben Meighan has to be one of the best never to win it. Absolute stud QB.

Best players not to win Mr. Football
If anyone was ever to win it as a junior, he should've been it.
