  1. Madisonville guard Jon Hood, the favorite for Kentucky's Mr. Basketball award this season, was tabbed as the No. 1 senior in the state by Rick Bolus' High Potential Recruiting Service new rankings of the top 100 seniors in the state. http://www.courier-journal.com/blogs/demling/blog.html
  2. If true, he should no longer be.
  3. I realized that when it was to late. Relax:rolleyes:
  4. Oak Hill isn't a prep School and I'm not real sure if they accept Sr's to be. For some reason I want to say mostly juniors.
  5. I agree that some individuals will get better and they will be exciting to watch for sure. However, great Teams need a solid floor General, who might fill that role next year?
  6. Congrats to the Team, nice showing.
  7. ^ 7-3 isn't that bad.
  8. This thread really isn't about who you may believe's the best player, or the best Coach for that matter. I know there have been at least three Trames that played for HC and also have Coached. I'm not saying any one of them is the best at either, but for me, the Trame name has been the face of their BB program for a long time.
  9. Not a bad choice, but when speaking of Covington Holy Cross, Trame usually comes to mind.
  10. I hate when announcers try to be comedians.
  11. Try this one, a little more accurate. http://www.bluegrasspreps.com/php/boysbasketball.php
  12. It's at the bottom of the article.
  13. The Litratings are a computerized power ranking of each team in Kentucky based on a formula that includes record, strength of schedule and margin of victory. Should read something like record, strenth of schedule and how much you can run up the score on your opponent.
  14. Congrats to Ryle on another nice win.
  15. Well said HS. I will also add this, a dunk gets the Fans excited for sure, but more, it gets the Team excited, and often deflates the other Team's spirit. In sports there are certain things that fire up the fans, and the Team. I would say a nice dunk is arguebly the most exciting thing during a basketball game, kinda like a HR in a baseball game, or a Kickoff/punt return in a football game.
  16. Not being smart at all Clyde, but what nod would that be?
  17. ER, it was nice finally seeing you at the game. I had to dart out of there, but I'm sure we will talk at a game soon. As far as the number of dunks, my friend and I did count 9. You could tell that both Teams were spent for the most part, but when Holmes wanted to, they were able to do about whatever they wanted. The last 3 minutes the Dogs seem to be working on their ball movement and not really concerned about scoring. In fact, I would bet their last 10 points were probably all free throws.
  18. I'll have to agree with ya on that one. I'd say by no more than 10.
  19. Thats what it's all about.
  20. Again, it was a little joke between ER and myself. And as far as impact, what do you mean? No one expects him to come in and score 20 points, but if he could possibly come in and give one of the starters a breather, without to many mistakes, and playing decent D then that's helping the Team and having an impact. Not to mention the experience he would be getting. Next?
  21. I'll take Ryle in this one, by at least 10.
  22. :thumb:Very good post EZ.
  23. I'll take your word for it.:thumb: BTW...Does anyone know who won the night cap? I believe that's who Holmes will face tomorrow.
