Officiating favored Huntington, but it did not determine the game. Walls had a solid game, Portwood led the team. Portwood should of got more touches at the end of the 4th quarter. He was on fire. Mackey had 12, played a good game, but didn't shoot the ball well.

Greenup beat Boyd and East. Greenup should be ahead of them. Beat Boyd at home and East away. Then lost a close game to Rowan.

There may not be a big supply of athletes at Greenup. Who's fault is it? No one. There are several top notch players that could have graduated in the past couple of years or play this year that would definately put Greenup back up on top. These players decided not to play or went some where else to play. Greenup needs a coach to stay there for awhile and the players will come. However, the JV has only lost 2 games and the seniors are a very good group of kids. Together they can make a run in the region. Don't give up boys, we all have faith you in you!

Ashland is tough, they could lose tomorrow and still be a favorite. Greenup's Wolfenbarker was in foul trouble all game and Ashland got too big of lead for Greenup to overcome. Am I saying if Wolfenbarker wasn't in foul trouble Greenup would win? NO. It probably would have been a closer game when Greenup played a lot better 2nd half.

Greenup's JV was in too. Greenup showed a lot tonight, they will be a contender if Greenup progresses after this game.

This was to promote players that don't get the recognition they deserve. I feel he deserves more than he is. But, I truly agree with you all the way.

You couldn't guard a water bucket!! Playing defense like your stealing hub caps. Running like your tip toeing in the daisies. You would be illegal in 7 states.
