How many All "A" regional winners went on to play in the Sweet 16?

Hazard won the 14 region in 2006 and the all "A" 14 region in 2007

In 2000 Brossart won the 10th, St.Pat won the regional All "A".

In 2001 Campbell County won the 10th, Brossart won the All "A".

Yes they did.

It's only been done once in the 1st Region ... Carlisle County in 2004.

 

I can think of only a couple of All A regional champs that even made it to the regional finals ... Fulton County in 1993, when they were the All A state runner-up, and Hickman County in 1998.

 

University Heights has done it several times in the 2nd Region, and Trigg County did it in 1997.

Whitesburg made it to All A State finals and final 8 in the Sweet Sixteen in 2002.

This is off the subject, kind of but on the girls side, Nicholas Co. won both the All "A" and Sweet 16 State Championships in 1993, led by Kim Denkins.
