Lexington Catholic came the closest ... All A champion in 1992, then a loss to University Heights in the Sweet 16 finals. LexCath had beaten UHA in the All A semis.

UHA did it a couple years ago

In 92 UHA lost to Lexington Catholic in the All A State and went on to win the Sweet Sixteen in March at Freedom Hall.
