The two out with fouls did not help, but I thought Jon Elrod stepped up and keep things together. Even with the two out, they did not blow out a big lead on the cats. I think missed free throws, lack of rebounding, and missed layups was the begining of the end. I have watched this team for many years. They have a very good first half, but normally the third quarter is where they start to shine. Last night they did not have their normal 3rd quarter. Tough loss for the cats, but good luck to the Cards.

With all that being said, if the regional powers-that-be really think that Montgomery County will have the facilities and everything else that goes along with putting on the 10th tourney (parking, hospitality, ticket management, concessions, nearby accomodations, etc. etc. etc.) in 2008; I say let them have their chance. If it turns out to be a gigantic flop like it was in the '70s; maybe it will be another 30+ years before the bad memories are erased. 30 years of memories, sounds like the Democrats controlling Frankfort, I guess that makes Mason the Democrats of Basketball!! I knew that I liked them!!!

Great place to play, and if there is no place like, why would we move?

PC has got the dream draw, We don't have to play Mason or Brossart till the finals. Both teams get up for us everytime we play. Just goes to show that Coach Biggs is a great and LUCKY Coach!! Cats back to Rupp!!!!!!!!!
