Montgomery should have a chance to host the tourney. From what i hear from our administration is that playing at the Fieldhouse brings in big bucks for the athletic program. Nice gym or not, it Montgomery can't make the teams as much money as Mason, it will move back to Maysville. You wait and see!!

If your coach came over and said something to the students, I am sure he will say something to the administration at school. Sounds like the coach is a stand up guy.

Most schools have athletic fees, that cover basic expenses and maybe drug testing. Then you pay additional depending on the sport. I would be surprised if you really get out for less than$100 for any sport. Lets face it with AAU and other programs, we have allowed the schools to become pay to play.

Can we confirm or deny that any Brossart school person talked with the superintendent. If we know the answer to this, then that should tell us how CC feels.

You are correct PC does have a 100 day AD. If I remember correctly the idea with the old super was to eliminate the high school from using a teaching position. There was something in the paper back when it originally came out. The old AD took a teaching position for part of his salary. I thought the idea was to hire someone to work to manage both middle and high. I may be wrong.

I believe that super that 92Birds keeps raving about needs to get everybody in the same boat!!! This should have happened after the first coach left, but evidently it did not because they lost a great young AD in Roberts!!! This may be correct, but did anybody ask Roberts if there were other reasons for leaving, Like more MONEY!! You hear everyone talk about teachers going across the river, how about AD positions?

Knowing the type of person Anthony is, he has lots of friends, I can't see friendship getting in the way of him doing his job. Again from having been on a SBDM council myself, superintendent's don't have much control in staff issues when it comes to dealing with the school.

If the super is as good as you say he is, then why has he allowed this nonsense to continue that may have driven out the AD or the FB coach? I have none your super for over 15 years and proud to say he was an extremely active teacher, community member, and faithful supporter of athletic programs while working at PCHS. He caried that same interest with him as he became your principal. What some people don't realize is that the super has very little if any influence over hiring at the building level. So when a teacher or coach becomes mad or upset with administration, there is not much that can be done. I would be like ballerm and tell people to get involved and work to make things better. I don't know about the history that old teacher is sharing, and it is probably true. Who cares, if you are going to get better you better start living in the future and forget about the past. Life is too short, and besides i have to get back and see if we hired a new Coach.

I think a great hire for West. Don't forget his giant killing experience his first year taking down Brossart.
