The tranfer from Louisville that your talking about... Is his name Terrel? I think this may be the kid that went to Somerset last year and played on the jv team, he was from Louisville.. If so, he is some what athletic but lacks fundamentals and cordination, as well as struggled to stay elligable because of his grades.. I dont know if he'll contribute too much, but if Coach can work with him and he can keep his grades up, he could see some playing time..

Agreed, but you cant mention those two without mentioning Price? the teams leading scorer last season and probably most athletic player.. These three senior players with the help of a few role players should lead the jumpers to a great season..

Cole is an excellent baseball player, but to say he is the best is an opinion.. And to say losing him would take somerset from being the favorite to the middle of the pack is ridiculous.. Cole will play baseball this year so this is a pointless conversation, but either way the jumpers are one of the favorites next year..

I like this top ten a thousand times better than the cats pause.. I think the top 5 could go in any order, somerset could be 5th and i couldnt argue with those 4 being ahead of them, but when I saw that they were ranked 9th I couldnt believe it.. Its not like the player rankings were any better, in my opinion I thought price and bourne both should be on there from somerset, and I thought it was hands down that Watts would be the top player in the region.. And if the guy had done his homework he would have found out that Cole isnt even playing basketball this year for Somerset.

I just saw the preseason rankings for the 12th region, and i must say that whoever made this list hasnt done their homework.. From what I've been told the guy didnt speak to a single coach in the region and that would explain why the rankings are so terribly wrong..

yes, somerset didnt play very well up in lexington, they went winless in the tourny.. but in there defense, the majority of the team plays baseball and that was the first time they had touched a basketball for a while, an were missing 2 starters.. Price an Bourne have both gotten a lot better over the summer and both gotten stronger and in my opinion will lead the jumpers to a impressive season and hopefully a region title..

I would say the top 5 teamsto begin the season next year(in my opinion) would be: Wayne County, Somerset, McCreary Central, Lincoln County, and Boyle.. dont really know much about anyone else..

You must be out of your mind.. Somerset has fewer students in there entire school than Ryle does in one grade.. It was a heck of an accomplishment to make it this far, and I dont see how you can say they were overrated..Ryle didnt see the jumpers best baseball.. (I still think Ryle is the better team) I just think it would have been a much better series had somerset played how they did in region.. But saying the Jumpers were overrated is rediculous!
