Will take over the head coaching position at Anderson County

Is this true when did it happen.....

Had the talk been, this might happen around Somerset? I know Coach Cobb, is very well respected in the Region.

What does Somerset have coming after this season. Any reasons given..

You sure he isn't going to Henderson County.They hired today and it hasn't been announced yet. One unsuccessful candidate, Mike Jackson, was told the Hendo committee had "gone in a different direction," meaning he wasn't the choice.

Anderson sounds like Henderson ... :lol:

 

Cobb coached at Webster County many years ago, so he knows the territory.

Is, was, the Anderson Co. job even open?

It must be Henderson....I didnt think Anderson was open.

Isn't Mark Peach still at Anderson County? I haven't heard anything about a change there.

I heard Cobb had applied for the Henderson Co job.

I believe that(Henderson Co) may be the job the Coach Cobb is leaving for.

Coach Cobb did a great job at Somerset, he'll be missed. Was it Anderson Co. or Henderson Co.?

The group that are coming in as freshmen went 12-6 in middle school and the rising 8th graders went 5-3 last year with two of their 3 losses coming to Corbin (who ended up undefeated I think) by scores of 8-0 and 14-12. They've got some solid talent coming up.

Great hire for Henderson. They made a wise choice. Somerset will miss Coach Cobb but I have to think that the folks at Henderson are feeling very good about the quality hire that they have made.

 

What will Somerset do this late in the year ? The football season is only a few weeks away.

Is this a good hire for Henderson if he is in fact heading here? I know nothing about Cobb. I was hoping the committee would target someone that had success at a larger school.
