  1. whoops! I'm not really sure what to do now..
  2. Somerset was only up by 7 at the half but absolutely dominated the second half.. SHS was up 32 when the starters came out with about 5 minutes left.. 9 in a row for the Jumpers now..
  3. Actually 5 out of the 7 teams had a winning record at the time they played Somerset, NOT 1! No one said anything about a tough schedule, just stated that they had won 7 in a row.. Just because your clearly not a fan of Somerset doesnt mean you have to look for a way to bring them down.. They're playing well right now
  4. Bourne was a beast on the boards tonight, had to have close to 20 boards and at least 20 points.. he lead the team in scoring while, I believe Price, Wallen and Coomer all had double digits.. Thats 7 in a row for the Jumpers!
  5. Congrats on successfully predicting the exact outcome in tonights game.. :ylsuper:
  6. The Jumpers are very hard to beat at the Briar Patch.. I'll say Somerset 70 Pulaski 58
  7. who said he was 5-20? I believe he hit 5 3's in the first game actually.. And got around 5 -7 boards a game as well.. All three deserved it, Bourne put up a double double in all 3 games, and Price had an off night against Lee but put up 25 against Southern and shut down Johnston for Grayson Co who only had 2 points for the game..
  8. If your team is doing so well, then it appears your child not getting enough shots off is working for the team! So why are you complaining, least he/she gets to play unlike several on the team I'm sure.. support the coaches and the players and do the job you agreed to do!
  9. He got it going there early in the game, He had close to 20 at the half.. So in the second half when they had to double up on him which left others open to knock down shots.. Good win for Somerset
  10. Maybe because he shot lights out the entire tournament!!!!? He had 21 the first night, 15 I think the second night and 8 tonight.. So your saying you dont think he should have made it?
  11. I dont believe they're talking about the Queen City Classic, Somerset and Walton Verona played today in the Hoopin it up Tourny in Laurel County..
  12. Somerset won 70-62 in overtime.. Walton Verona could not miss from three, they hit either 13 or 14 of them on the night! Dont know the stats for WV but for Somerset, Price 25, Bourne, 16, Wallen 12, Coomer 10 and a few others with a basket..
  13. Dont know too much about the 13th but I have watched Corbin and Jackson County play the past couple days up at North Laurel... And its hard to believe there is anyone in the region better than those two..
  14. Its hard to go against Somerset...They did have a slip up against Casey County but I don't believe that will affect them to much...Wallen, Bourne, and Price are very tough to stop...Nearly impossible to stop all 3...There averaging around 14, 17, and 19 points a game... And thats not even counting their bench play thats been playing really well...A team loaded with 10 seniors and a very deep bench like Somerset is hard to go against IMO
  15. Good bounce back win for Somerset.. shot the ball well, limited the turnovers and played much better than they did tuesday night against Casey.
  16. After the Jumpers performance last night against Casey County I'd say Coach Thacker will have them ready to play friday night!
  17. Turnovers killed the Jumpers tonight... They had to have over 20... Dissapointing loss for Somerset
  18. Southwestern played better than expected and had a good game plan in slowing down the game to limit the number of possesions Somerset had. By doing so they were able to keep the game respectable but the Jumpers had this one in hand from the start..
  19. Danville was not ranked 5th in the preseason rankings.. I'm thinking they were 10th or so.. but I know they werent 5th..
  20. Jumpers have looked very deep so far, and it doesnt look as if anyone is going to be able to stop Bourne...I think Somerset will be tough to beat!
