Bourne was a beast on the boards tonight, had to have close to 20 boards and at least 20 points.. he lead the team in scoring while, I believe Price, Wallen and Coomer all had double digits.. Thats 7 in a row for the Jumpers!

The Jumpers next part of the schedule is weak, they should continue to win.

Didn't Somerset lose @ Casey earlier this year? Casey is a very underrated team IMO. That could be a good game. The Jumpers are a very good team this year, balanced all over the floor. This could be a region contending team by season's end.

While I understand what you are saying, realistically there are some potential stumbles for Somerset in the next couple weeks:

 

1. Casey County - already lost a road game to them

2. Southwestern - struggling, but a county rival who will be up for the Jumpers

3. West Jessamine - definite top 5 team in the region

4. Boyle County - struggling, but potentially a top 5 team in the region; never easy to beat

5. Monticello - should win

I agree with you, I don't see the next five all being easy games. Casey has already beaten the Jumpers, West Jessamine has a win over McCreary Central and a hard fought loss to Lincoln on their resume and Boyle is very capable of beating the Jumpers. Monticello should be an easy win and they shouldn't have too much trouble with Southwestern but they could definately lose any of the other 3.

I was thinking the same thing, W Jess and Boyle are anything but easy wins. SW only lost to Somerset by 12 the first time and Monticello just thumped SW last night. I certainly expect Somerset to win over those two but you never know when somebody will have one of those everything goes right nights and pulls off the upset.

Actually 5 out of the 7 teams had a winning record at the time they played Somerset, NOT 1!

No one said anything about a tough schedule, just stated that they had won 7 in a row.. Just because your clearly not a fan of Somerset doesnt mean you have to look for a way to bring them down.. They're playing well right now
