I was just wantin to know what everyone thought about the 12th region this year. Cats Pause shows Wayne and Lincoln as front runners. Also who are the top 10 players of this region. Everyone says Cats Pause rankings were messed up for this region so who really are the top 10 players.

Wayne, Somerset, Boyle, McCreary, Lincoln, and Mercer all could win the region. No number one in 12th region.

Players

1. Watts

2. Young

3. Williams

4. Wells

5. Price

6. Gregory

7. Bourne

Keep your eyes on Justin Ray, junior small forward from Garrard County. He's a very solid all-around player.

Macon could be huge at Danville, if he plays. I heard he traveled and played with some of the best players in the states this summer.

Most expected a better record from Somerset last year than what was acheived. Somerset was 12-7 in their region last year with most of their losses being close. Returning most of their team with several seniors, more is expected this year. Cats Pause had Somerset at number 9 in the 12th region, they are in the top 3, with Lincoln and Wayne County. Boyle and McCreary should be good also. If Somerset can play team ball and not have excessive turnovers, I expect them to have a good chance of winning the region. By the end of the year some teams that lost several players may also be near the top. Of the players I have seen in the 12th the players to watch are:

Somerset - Tyler Bourne, Cory Price, Adam Wallen

McCreary Co.- Watts

Lincoln- Keeton, Young

Boyle- Williams

Wayne- Gregory, Wells, Decker

East Jessamine- Whitley

Pulaski- Whitis

Mark my words, Rockcastle will be a force.

I noticed the Coaches Poll from the Courier-Journal did not list Keeton from Lincoln. This kid could be in the top 3 in the region. He is definitely their best player.

I second that motion.

I think Bourne will have a big year for the Jumpers in the paint.
