Jumpers open their season by hosting Paul Dunbar on friday night...any thoughts or predictions?

 

I talked to Coach Thacker and the football players won't even be at practice until Wednesday. It still isn't a definate as to whether John Cole will play or not, I'd say without being able to practice with a full roster and the football players adjusting to basketball the Jumpers will be in for a difficult task. I'll take the Bulldogs 63-52.

Somerset did not look too good this summer. Their preseason scrimmages they have been looking better. They have played Garrard County, Madison Southern and Anderson County and bettered each of them. Football players will join them this week but may take some time to get into the flow. I do not know much about Dunbar except what I saw last year, they come from a good region. This will be a fast paced game, if they can play them close it should be a good indication of Somersets season. I predict Somerset by 8.
