West was up by one with about ten seconds to go and McCreary got a lay in to take the lead. West then took the ball out and threw it in and McCreary stole the ball but the official blew his whistle for a foul with about .3-.7 seconds left. West was in double bonus, but they waved off the foul and called the game. I don't think McCreary will want any part of West in March. . .

West scrimmaged Lafayette tonight. They played five quarters and west won everyone but the fourth. I think West won the final by 11.

Are people actually talking about McCreary's 8th, 6th,5th, and 4th grade teams???? Really? There is nothing else to talk about in this region but McCreary's middle school and elementary programs? Wow!

With holmes returners and new addition there is no one up north that can stop them. The only team comparable to them Scott Co. all star team with pharras, dakota, chad, and guinn unless they implode it might just be over

I agree completely. I was at the uk open gym/scrimmage two weeks ago and he held his own out there without a doubt, besides hood he was one of the most impressive recruits there.

This is true. West Jessamine beat Boyle in the Centre Camp championship. It was sudden death over time and Boyle had a free throw chance to win it, but missed and West came down and hit a three to win.

If i had to rank the top 5 players next year in the 12th this would be my list: 1.) Aaron Watts- McCreary Central 2.) Jamel Taylor- Mercer County 3.) Jarrod Polsen- West Jessamine 4.) Ethan Spurlin- Lincoln County 5.) Gavin Dunnagan- Wayne County The top 3 are all going to be juniors and the last one is going to be a sophomore. This is a young region.

No Anthony Apro graduated two years ago. Their top pitchers now are Joseph Griffitt, Tyler West, and Chase Greene. I think West will win it in the 3rd and final game. I know Harrison has a pretty good pitcher but West has three good pitchers. I don't think Harrison can pull off two wins against West. Also, West has played over ten ranked teams so they have no problem with good competition. Harrison has had a weaker schedule.

Yeah, in regionals for basketball officials from another region are selected unlike in baseball. I think the way we do it in basketball is a bad idea it's the 12th Region Tournament and it should be reffed by 12th region officials.

In the past 3yrs west has played Lincoln 3 times. Twice at Lincoln and once at home. West has lost all three times. Lincoln has won by a total of 8pts in those games. They beat West by 2 in OT last year at their place. Then they beat West by 1 in the regional semi-finals. Finally, they beat them this year by 5 West, where at one point West was up 10. So I guarantee you it will be a barn burner.
