Wow, close game

This was much closer than I expected...

West was up by one with about ten seconds to go and McCreary got a lay in to take the lead. West then took the ball out and threw it in and McCreary stole the ball but the official blew his whistle for a foul with about .3-.7 seconds left. West was in double bonus, but they waved off the foul and called the game. I don't think McCreary will want any part of West in March. . .

McCreary other than Watts and Roark are younger than West. So I would think that McCreary would have a larger learning curve and will benefit more than West as the season goes along.

Terrible game overall for the Raiders. The Raiders can only get better. The two close games came when Central wasn't in school and not much school will be missed in March, so IMO they will be ready for West.

Lots of excuses for the raiders who are suppose to be #1 in region- I think maybe Lincoln can stake claim right now. But both are fine ball clubs- but I agree- Raiders wouldnt want to see West in March!!

Yes they are suppose to be the number one team in the region. That is why they still came out on top.

I think West Jessamine showed what they are capable of. Jarrod Polson looked better than Watts. What about it?

McCreary wiil get a lot better as the year goes along. They will be scary come March.

Polson can shoot. But better then Watts? Who made the big play at the end to win it?

From the report I heard about the game if West could hit some free throws they would have had the game in the bag by the final three seconds anyway. As far as March goes I expect that McCreary, W Jess, E Jess, Mercer, Lincoln, Wayne will all be about the same level with Garrard, Southwestern, Danville and maybe Rockcastle close enough to pull out a win against the top group without it being considered a huge upset.
