Polson is 6'2 and not 5'10 like alot of people think.

Jarrod Polson from West Jessamine has a full ride offer from Taylor Univ.in Indiana and interest from several others. Would like to see him get more D1 interest but he seems to get overlooked for some reason.

Should be and exciting year for several 12th region team,with West Jessamine,McCreary Central,and Wayne Co. figuring to be the best teams. There is also some talent in the region. Jarrod Polson from West Jessamine and Aaron Watts are the marquee names and can play with anyone in the state.

Reports are that he is getting back to normal. He got cleared today to resume playing. But, he won't be 100% for awhile.

Jarrod Polson had to pull out of the Jr.All-Stars due to a serious illness. He should be ok by end of summer -however, he can't play summer ball.

His dad is from Cumberland in Harlan Co. and also Kyle Mefford's father was from Evarts is Harlan Co.

Polson is 6'1.

The officiating wasn't really that bad until the 4th quarter. Polson was getting killed trying to dribble and no fouls were called. To West's credit, they hung on and hit crucial free throws down the stretch. Congrat's West Jessamine!

You have to put Jarrod Polson from West Jessamine into the all-state discussion.

Has anyone been tracking what Jarrod Polson is doing at West Jessamine. The kid is phenomenal yet gets little attention.

He is a Junior.

I think Jarrod Polson of West Jessamine should get a mention. He is a very talented player. He is an extremely heady player-like a coach on the floor.

I don't think that Lafayette would have won had West Jessamine's best player not gotten hurt during the third quarter. Of course, missing 17 free throws doesn't help either.

He didnt make the big play --he made the big foul that wasn't called.

It's just a shame that the game ended like it did--McCreary clearly fouled the West Jessamine player and the ref did call the foul--the horn hadn't even gone off yet. But the other ref waved it off--the game is 32 minutes long-not 31min and 59.7 seconds. If it's a foul it has to be called- a homer call for Watts.

I think West Jessamine showed what they are capable of. Jarrod Polson looked better than Watts. What about it?

How about some kudo's for West Jessamine. Why is Jarrod Polson not getting any respect in this region?
