Fairdale will be much improved among top 3 in 6th with East #1 and PRP #2. Payne, Longacre, and Thomas all improved their game over the summer playing for the Spiece Ky Gators who played up. Thomas only played once with them but will play all summer with Gators next year. Fairdale will add depth with 6'3 Darren Lowrey who transferred from Shawnee last December. Sr 6'2 Jordan Clark will also provide more depth. Look for Jr Raymont Blincoe to step up and have a good year along with Jr. Joe Cox. Fairdale gave East a battle in the first round of the region leading late in the 4th qt. However, with what East returns they will be tough to beat.

I agree completely. Why do they just recycle bad coaches. TT AD and President should be fired. What did they expect. He is an alcoholic. He has a proven track record of abuse and drinking and he gets hired in high pressure jobs. Amazing

As a UofL fan I only care about two titles (1980 & 1986). All the others happened before my time. Its okay to hang banners from what you accomplished then but in todays world the NCAA title is the only one recognized.

The NCAA says you sign with a school not the coach. Cal met with them and either told them they had a future at UK or they should leave. Except for the Sloan kid who he refused to meet with. This happens all the time. However, when Pitino is honest with kids and their playing time he is unethical. I see nothing wrong with any coach telling kids the truth in how they have progressed and whether or not they would be better off at another school. You really think Cal hasnt told Hood he would get more playing time at another school? I give credit to Hood for sticking it out knowing he will prolly never play than Cal being loyal to him.

They can. There are a lot of ways principals can get a new coach in the building. As far as Moore, Coach Jones is good friends with Southern principal and former Male coach Bryce Hibbard. I personally think its a better setup at Moore where you have a middle school in your high school. Rumor has it that the AD ran both Larry Miller and Jones off. Jones was told that he should win the state title this year. Also, heard Moore basketball got no money from their LIT run and those schools that made the finals made some big money making it to finals(15K each).

His assistant Bob Wade has had several coaching jobs. Not sure he will apply. The process is basically to just apply for the job. Open jobs have to be posted for at least two weeks in Jeff. Co. and they are usually required to interview at least 3 candidates. Most schools in Louisville like to hire teachers so they can get them in the building. I've heard that Ellis Myles is a candidate for the Eastern job.

Coach Stinnett wants to spend more time with family. He is a class guy that did a good job at Iroquois.

Comments from Coach Coach would indicate that. Said he was not happy with all the changes going on at Eastern and he didnt like change. Also, mentioned that there is a culture change there. Didnt Elaborate on that.

Doesnt Well have a history of moving around also. How long would he stay there? Any coach who has success there is gonna move. MSU cat afford to keep coaches there long that are successful

My Brother is a MSU alumni. He says that Tyndall and Wells did not like each other at all and that MSU pushed hard to keep Pikeville from becoming a state sponsored school. Does that mean anything with Hiring Wells dont know? Coach Tyndall pushed hard for his Asst. Wade O'connor to get the job in an article in the courier-journal. Pikeville certainly has put the money into the basketball program. Will MSU do the same for Coach Wells to be successful there?

They are a young team that is really good. Several young D-1 recruits getting serious looks from Big 10 schools. Anyone else seen them play or know about thier players.

My guess is Arkansas plays the wait and see game with how the fan base and boosters reaction. If its not too negative no way they fire him. He has Arkansas program winning and they know that in 1 year after firing him he will be rehired with a good chance another SEC school.

According to the Courier journal he ran off the high way and crashed and was taken to a hospital. No information about the seriousness of injuries.

He played for them last year. Not sure about this year

Spiece Gators will have a 17u team. They are playing in the Memphis tip Off Classic next weekend April 6-9.
