  1. Ft. Campbell has an impressive Freshman in Troy Turner. I believe he has turned in two 100 yards game in his first three games....Someone to look out for in the future.
  2. I would say this does make Trigg the front runner. I understand they had other big win this week.
  3. Yes, this is a surprise. I heard the Davis kid had 167 yards on the ground, and Ft. Campbell had some turnovers, but that does not take away the fact that Madisonville-North Hopkins earned a big win
  4. Madisonville-North Hopkins 31 - Ft. Campbell 14 Final Davis for Madisonville had 167 yds on the ground Ft. Campbell had 4 or 5 turnovers they could not overcome.
  5. Madisonville-North Hopkins 31 - Ft. Campbell 14 8:00 minutes remaining Davis for Madisonville is having a big game on the ground
  6. Madisonville-North Hopkins 24 - Ft. Campbell 14 In fourth quarter
  7. Madisonville-North Hopkins 21 - Ft. Campbell 7 In the third quarter
  8. Madisonville-North Hopkins 14 - Ft. Campbell 7 with a minute until half time
  9. Ft. Campbell is a bit of a surprise. They lost a bunch of horses, but came up big against PT and handled Knox easily. I guess they got another running back in by military transfer that is pretty good.
  10. Trigg's D looks like it is tough. they should have no problem this week against Hopkins Central
  11. This one will be close. Marshall 24-21 over LO
  12. Maybe so, but from my understanding a Ft. Campbell player received offensive player of the game. Giving a deserving player on the other side is the right thing to do. Congrats to both players.
  13. It looks like Fort Campbell has another strong defense, giving up just 3 points against what was said to be a good running game by Ft. Knox. The Ft. Campbell defensive coordinator always has those boys ready to play.
  14. I got word the score was Ft. Campbell 20-14 win in OT
  15. As far as the heat factor and the two a days. I don't think moving things back needs to be addressed. It is the coaches responsibility to take care of his kids. If it is to hot, practice accordingly. The problem is when coaches push the limit for the sake of thinking they are missing some important part of their practice or game plan to get ready for the opener. They have to remember the most important part is the players and their safety.
  16. The Ft. Campbell-Tilghman game should be a good one. Ft. Campbell dominated last year with that great team they had and Tilghman seem to have some conditioning problems late in the game. With Ft. Campbell you just never know when a Micah Johnson will transfer in on a parent's military orders. Oh the flip side you never know when they will transfer out either. Tilghman looked a lot bigger last year, it came down to speed and conditioning v. size and strength, and speed won out last year. Interesting opener, can't wait.
  17. Oh, by the way Guru, thanks for the heads up on the preview forum and any word on the Marshall County-Ft. Campbell scrimmage?
  18. I feel the same way. I think the district is up in the air. Trigg and Ft. Campbell have been so dominate the past couple of years, but with the big losses they are trying to refuel the fire with young players. It will be interesting to see if Caldwell and Loan Oak can step up. Should be a good battle for the top spot.
  19. Can anyone give me an unbias preview of how the teams look in Western KY, preferrably Class 2A, Region 1, District 1. After a couple of scrimmages I think there should be a good feeling for what is out there. Can anyone compete with O Cath in the playoffs?
