With 3 games under our belts, what freshmen and sophomores around the state have turned in impressive varsity performances and can we look for in the future as potential stars?

 

Bardstown has a FB/LB, Rashaun Phillips, who has great size and speed and has been putting blistering hits on people. I have been very impressed. Others?

That there, Zach Lewis from over in Clay County has been pretty darn impressive thus far. He is only a Sophomore and has put up some nice numbers. Keep up the good work Zach.

Nathan Dillion from Johnson Central. He is a very impressive freshman. Not forsure on his stats on both sides of the ball. He is going to see some major playing time as the season goes on.

Trinity RB Phillips has had a tremendous season thus far.

Nathan's stats arent all that great cause he doesnt get to start but see's some reps of the bench. Although i do know that he has had 1TD rushing in each game this season. With more reps he would have great stats but limited PT keeps them low. But anyone that see's this kid would definitely be impressed by his skills.

Tyrese Murrell is going to be a very special running back/defensive cornerback for Mayfield...he is already a very productive player as a Freshman starting for the Cards.

Ft. Campbell has an impressive Freshman in Troy Turner. I believe he has turned in two 100 yards game in his first three games....Someone to look out for in the future.

Ricky Rhodes, Jr. RB Madison Central has 10 TD's in three games. Had two TD receptions and two TD runs against Tates Creek on Friday. Has also returned a punt, or two, for TD's in previous games.

Adam Dials (Jr) and Ryan Kelly (Soph) are excellent halfbacks at Sheldon Clark. Damon Hensley is an oustanding quarterback (Jr)

Glad to see some of the Clay Co. boys gettin some press.

I agree. A very talented kid who has a lot of football left to play in front of him. He will just get better! :thumb:

Leonard Macon 6'5 210 - Danville High School - 10th grade ...everyone around here has been real impressed with his size, with a little developing he could be a big asset in years to come.:thumb:

Dominque Hayden for LCA has been impressive as a freshman. One person is not going to bring him down. He is seeing plenty of varsity time for the Eagles.

Seth Harvey 6'6" 330 lb OL/DL soph from Russell.

Belfry has 4 or 5 sophmores who are starting or playing nearly the entire game. They are all looking good thus far, but IMO (and its early) DE Ivan Lee (6'2" 244") leads the way for the best Soph class I have ever seen at Belfry.
