Impressive Underclassmen

Macon from Danville. He is 6'5 225 in shorts. Very long arms, huge hands. Will be 6'8 270 pounds running down the middle of the field catching passes in college before its over with. He is a sophmore, and still raw. Look out! He is a Div 1 prospect now!

I saw Macon last year. He did have unbelievable physical traits, but was still very raw, did not run sharp routes, and was rather uncoordinated. If Danville's coaches have worked with him in the off-season, even a little bit, he will be an unstoppable force running free through virtually any secondary.

Can he move and does he have good technique? That is certainly D-I size, right now.

Yes he can move...he is a good basketball player as well.......That 300 lbs isn't all fat either....he is just a big good-sized kid...

Dee Anderson from Greenwood, probably one of the best Freshman in the State. Wow, this kid is special!

That about sums it up.

If he works hard the sky is the limit. Coach McGlone usually tries to work the sophs in slowly and usually on defense first. I would say Harvey will get more and more playing time on both sides of the ball as the season progresses.

Ty Sparks Jr. RB at Tates Creek, around 500 yards rushing 7 TD's really fast, had over 1100 yards as a Soph.

Samuel Simpson C Henry Clay

Aaron Boyd WR Henry Clay

Donte Gay RB Henry Clay

Kyle Bryant OT Tates Creek

Terrell Combs RB Bryan Station

North Bullitt Sophomore RB Dalton Cissell has rushed for 401 yds and 3 TD's on 47 carries in first 2 games. Rushed for 1,046 as a freshman last season. Tied for 3rd in his weight class in State Powerlifting meet this past winter.

Woodford County Sophomore wide receiver Shawne Lewis caught nearly everything thrown his way for host Woodford County (3-0), including a 74-yard TD pass in the third quarter that put the Yellowjackets ahead to stay.

Lewis finished with 208 yards on seven catches, two for touchdowns.

Bobby Petrino will be a factor for the Rocks for years to come. He is being tried at several spots and hasn't disappointed at any of them. He will flat-out hit you on defense.
