  1. Union plays that cover 2 dropping the backers in zone. If the WR's for Lone will settle Robinson will pick Union apart. Lone Oak by 14.
  2. Madisonville has looked good on both sides of the ball during scrimmages. They have two kids vying for the QB job and both have had success in the scrimmages. Weaver has those kids buying into the program. Look for M-ville to surprise some people...Kick coverage needs works. Madisonville by 10.
  3. Loan Oak is going to have a solid year. The QB is very very good. They gave Ft. Campbell a real scare last year and I would have loved to see a rematch this year. Robinson should be getting some big time attention, he has a strong arm, and good poise. Probably one of the best, if not the best QB in the region.
  4. Madisonville had another pretty good night. They were up 28-6 in the blink of an eye it appeared. Any other thoughts on this one?
  5. This one was played Thursday night. it was played on a 10 play/10 play format early. I though Madisonville looked good on both sides of the ball early scoring on their first set of plays and moving to the 5 on the next set. The fullback and O-line were especially strong. PT looked a little sluggish, coughing up the ball 2 or 3 times and giving up a pick. PT then settled down and things evened out a little. After a couple of possession in that format it moved to more of a game type situation and both teams defenses made stops. Not a bad showing for Madisonville and PT. Any other thoughts on this one?
  6. Congrats to Coach Weaver and the Maroons. It has been a great pleasure to watch Will coach the Ft. Campbell defense the past few years. Coach Weaver is a professional through and though. He is a disciplinarian and pays attention to the detail. I hope the Maroons are ready to work because his passion and work ethic are unmatched. Madisonville has landed a gem and good luck to Will and the Maroons.
  7. The Trigg staff did a good job of preparing to stop the Ft. Campbell running game. They made Ft. Campbell beat them with the pass and the Falcons didn't get any consistency in that part of the game tonight.
  8. Final...Trigg 28 - Ft. Campbell 15... An interesting tidbit of info..Ft. Campbell is 40-8 in the past four years. 6 of those 8 losses have come at home!
  9. Ft. Campbell answers back with a TD...PAT no good...Trigg 28 - Ft. Campbell 15
  10. Trigg is taking over game...Scores early in fourth....Trigg 28 - Ft. Campbell 9
  11. Ft. Campbell commits 3rd turnover....Trigg converts on next series Trigg 21 -Ft. Campbell 9... early in 3rd quarter
  12. Teams exchange turnovers....Ft. Campbell kicks field goal....Trigg runs back kickoff for a TD....Trigg 14 - Ft. Campbell 3
  13. Ft. Campbell fumbles on own 11, Trigg takes advantage and scores...Trigg 7 Ft. Campbell 0....@ minutes left in 1st quarter.
  14. Final...Ft Campbell 49 Reidland 0...Turner 17 carries 250 yards
  15. Ft. Campbell 41 - Reidland 0...end of 3rd...Turner over 200 with 3 TD's
  16. Ft Campbell 35 - Reidland 0 at the half....Turner has two TD's and near 150 yards on the ground. Backup QB has a TD pass and near 100 yards passing.
  17. Ft. Campbell 28 - Reidland 0, middle of 2nd quarter. Ft Campbell QB out with injury in middle of the 1st. Turner already over 100 yards
  18. The cramp issue brought up by green nation is a non-issue this year. Ft. Campbell had some players cramp up last year in the Playoffs, but this was do to the fact that the starters had to play a whole game. They had such big leads in the final month of the regular season the starters only played half a game. They actually fell out of "game shape". I don't think the coaching staff will let that happen again. It really is a toss up in the region, but if Ft. Campbell can get by Trigg, they will take Caldwell, which could more than likely set up another classic with O-Cath and Ft. Campbell.
  19. Ft. Campbell is really on a roll right now. It isn't any one person's return that has them playing so well though. They lost their two starting senior offensive tackles earlier this year and it took a little time to get the O-line back in synch. They have it together right now and have dominated the past 3 weeks, as is evident by the big numbers the running back has put up. The passing game has taken advantage of this by throwing a lot of flanker and slip screens, basically and extended running game. Most of the pass yards come from yards after catch by getting the ball to their athletes and the O-line getting down field blocking. The "D" isn't to bad either with two straight shutouts. I am with Westsider, look for Ft. Campbell to beat Trigg and Caldwell in the playoffs and win the region.

  21. The riherds scoreboard has it Ft. Campbell 55 Webster 0
  22. True, Croft returned, but went down again with the same injury early in the second half with the score 21-7. Offensive line for Ft. campbell dominated all night.
