  2. Nick Anderson hit the game winner as time expires. Augusta was up by 10 going into the final quarter. It was a Battle thats for sure. Great effort from both teams tonight.
  3. Can a mod combine this thread with the other prediction
  4. Thanks Devilman... Talked with his mom today. He will be fine. Possible to be back by districts but not sure.
  5. If you are talking about Augusta, our tall boy is Chris Mofford.
  6. Its moronic to let kids ride a bike without a helmet too, but it happens all the time. Like stated before you can get hurt in practice too. Heck you can roll an ankle getting off the bus going to the game. Players get hurt, but I think the more playing time you can get the better. Heck my son is an eighth grader. Is it moronic to let him play in the freshman game because he could get hurt. I think not.
  7. Final. Fleming led 17-9 after one, 32-24 at the half. Bracken closes within five after 3, 42-37. Bracken came up short in the end but I hear it was a battle.
  8. I hope the Panthers can pull this one out at home. It would be a big win for the team, that they really need. I would look for Mofford to have a big game. On a side note Augusta will be without bench player Ty Krebs for this game and quite possibly the rest of the season due to medical reasons.
  9. I will keep my thoughts to myself. Not good to get on here and vent.
  10. Dustin "Shooty" Staggs 28 pts and 12 Rbs Chris Mofford 14 pts 10 rbs R. 11. The Lady Panthers are starting to come together as a Team but I dont think they are ready to beat the likes of Pendleton or Pendelton:sssh: for that matter. Good luck girls. If they can keep the difference 18 or less they did a wonderful job.
  12. They are and have been one of the most disciplined teams I have ever seen, on both sides of the ball. I would say they are a well balanced team with great coaching.
  13. If Augusta shows up and not play defense It could be a long, long night. The defensive effort in their last game as a team was well.....not so good. These boys need to man up and play some D. If they do they can win this game. They have been pretty consistant in scoring. I will pick Augusta by 6.
  14. I was just wondering. I am originally from an area in Northern New Jersey where wrestling was the big sport. Districts and Regional Tourny's were standing room only. Just how big has it become in Kentucky. Seems like it is growing. Another question, does anyone know of any Girls wrestling. I have seen some really good girl grapplers in my time. If I ever get a chance I will like to head up to Campbell County and see a match or two. I have not been to a wrestling match since I left Alaska 7 years ago.
  15. Congrats boys, Anyone know the academic team. I belive Joey Crouch from Augusta was one.
  16. Could someone list the All tourny players please. Maybe in a New Thread. Thanks.
  17. Who's fault is that? Nothing against Calvary but if there was as seeding process for this tourny. It would had most likely been a different final pairing and a different runner up, and a bigger crowd Congrats to both teams.
  18. Final.... Congrats Mustangs. I was a Mustang once Different Sport and a different State. Same colors though.
  19. I will agree with this also. To a point. Refs do sometimes make a big difference. But not as often as some people think. But like Strike3 says they will not last long. I have seen the effects of home cooking refs more in the middle school games then High School. When a ref after a game walks to the scorers table after a game and takes off his shirt and puts on his home team sweatshirt, smells like home cooking to me.
  20. Augusta Lady Panthers come back from 12 points down at the half and Win their second game in a row. Kaitlyn Harrget led Augusta with 20 points, and Ashley Harding joined her in double didgits with 17 points. Lauren Whiteman 9, Shelby Linville 7,Brie Lang 5, Ashley Dailey 3, Kayla Cummins 1 Keep up the good work Ladies.
  21. I counted 4 or 5 blocks. Augusta needs a Guard to start hitting or a third post player to step up when one of the big two are struggling.
