  1. Best game of the day. I was pulling for the small school, even if it messes up my bracket. Slone was very good today and impressive. Reminds me of Corey Pelle from Silver Grove last year. Number 4 impressed me also.
  2. I Will be there every game. Section 43 and Can't wait.

  4. I agree 110%.... Cline is the glue that keeps them together. In the games I have seen Mason play this year and in the past, Lacey is on the the floor all game long and does not get much bench time unless she is in foul trouble. There must be a reson for this, If she is not running the offense they would struggle.
  5. Congrats to the the Lady Royals and I look forward to seeing the battle Monday night. Campbell County is running a nice Tournament, my only compaint is the cold hot dog and even colder cheese that came with my nachos.....
  6. Congrats to Scott, Both teams played hard. Foul trouble, injuries, and turnovers hurt Augusta. Scott had their share of turnovers but the Panthers could not turn them into points. Was sad too see Shooty go out the way he did. Also missed seeing Braydee Hamilton on the floor for one last game. Best of luck seniors in where you go from here. Returning players work hard this offseason and hit that nice new weight room and come out stronger next year.
  7. Not excusees just facts Prince. That you have no comments about. Another fact...Mason is a, better more talented team yes. I am sure you will agree. I would say everyone in Augusta will Agree. We would just like to see a fairly called game.
  8. This is a good draw for Augusta, besides PC, ( no disrespect to PC ) that will give them any kinda chance of winning a game in the regions. Both teams know nothing of each other as they have not played each other. At least not since I have been watching Augusta play. Should be a interesting matchup. That being said I will not predict an outcome.
  9. Wow, Congrats PC, when they turned the corner they have not looked back.
  10. I have been sitting here debating on what I want to say without ruffling too many feathers. For PrincePalace, you said this was the dirtiest game you have seen Augusta play this year, Just how many games have you seen? Not to many I suppose. To say they played dirty is a Joke, they played hard and gave just as much as they received as far a Physical play goes. Were they more physical then normal yes. I have seen Derek Fryman play a lot of basketball for Augusta and never seen him hit the floor as many times as he did last night. Did Augusta make mistakes you bet but, they sure had help in making some of them. I have said it before and will say it again. Augusta if they were to play the Physical Defense some of these bigger schools get away with during the regular season on there home floor. We would have the whole team fouled out in the first half. The bigger your schools name the more you will get away with. Tell me how many times after Mason scored last night did they mess with the ball, hitting it up the floor. Heck one time a player made a shot then passed the ball up the floor to the ref. No warnings given there. Tell me how a ref did not see that. Anyway congrats to Mason Co. And to Augusta we are proud of you guys. Go into Regions, forget about the Name on the Jersey in front of you and play your hearts out . Leave it on the floor Seniors.
  11. Congrats to Mason Co., Good effort by the Lady Bears, just need to get pass the name on the jersey. Future still looks bright for the Lady Bears best of luck to both teams next week.
  12. Congrats to Mr Owens, has be a pleasure to watch you play, even if you scored alot of them points against A-Town. Best of luck from here on out.
  13. Congrats to the Lady Bears and their Coaching Staff. These girls played their hearts out and put together a great team effort. Great goob by my favorite Lady Bear Alex Rogers, came off the bench and played very well.
  14. Augusta was led by Chris Mofford with 15 points along with Shawn White who added 14 points Both hit some big free throws down the stretch. Dustin"Shooty" Staggs had 11 points and 16 rebounds. Brayde Hamilton 9, Derek Fryman 4, Ryan Kelsch 3 Congrats to the Panthers and Coach Kelsch who along with his little Brother Coached their respective teams into the regions.
  15. Congrats to the Lady Bears. Good too see you all finsh the season winning. Best of luck to the departing seniors and to the team as they head into postseason play.
  16. Augusta was one lucky school, That Dustin “ Shooty “ Staggs showed up four years ago. Some people do not know just how bad this young man wanted to be on a Basketball Team. He is the hardest working player I have seen play the game. Even coaches from other teams have made the same assessment. I have talked with Coach Kelsch from time to time about Shooty , he told me a story about the first time he handed Shooty his team jersey. The kid teared up, he told Robin, “Coach I don’t even care if I get to play . I just want to be part of a team.” I have talked to Shooty numerous times he told me he sometimes wished some players had been rejected like he was at a younger age and how it pushed him to work harder. So when people complain about playing time just remember hey you are lucky your kids even had a shot at playing. When Shooty got his shot he made the most of it. He is for sure more than just a WATER BOY I just hope some College takes a good hard look at Shooty and gives him a shot, They will be hard pressed to find a harder worker anywhere. Best of luck to one of the Best kids I have seen play the game.
  17. Augusta was led by Senior Dustin "Shooty" Staggs who had 21 points and 19 rebounds. Good job Shooty just need to hit them Free Throws. I joked with Shooty after the game, told him he had a tripple double if you count the missed Free Throws  He did laugh, what a great kid. You will be missed in the Panther Den. Chris Mofford added 19 points and 11 boards R Kelsch 7, S White 5, D Fryman 4, A Holleran 3, B Hamilton 1 To the departing Seniors you all will be missed you have gave us Panther fans a good year and a fun four years of seeing you all grow. JV Augusta wins 49-34 R. Kelsch 14, C Fraysure 10, A Holleran 8, J Kelsch 7, H Kiskaden 4, J Hargett 3, S Gibbs 2, J Gray 1
