I've heard that sometimes each coach gets the choice, but technically the AD could vote for one and the other. Doesn't make much sense, you're right, just seed it.

It is a blind draw. You won't play your own distric until the finals. Winners play losers in the first round. So, it could be Conner/Boone in the finals or even NDA/Holmes like it was last year.

I think it all depends on the year. 8 peoople vote. 1 vote for a boys team, and 1 for the girls team. You are voting for the following year. Of course, Ludlow would want to do it this year, as would Dixie. But what about 3 or 4 years down the road? Things change. I think this district will add another team soon enough, probably St. Henry once Cooper starts playing. It only makes sense. :ylsuper:

yes, but the real problem is that they're in one of the, if not the toughest, districts in the 9th region. If they seed the region, they'll be playing Boone in the first round and may not even see the 9th region.

I would say Ludlow is 3rd behind NCC and HC. I am still giving them a lot of credit though. They've come a long way in a little time.:ylsuper:

Ludlow will be tested in the 1st round...they play St. Henry, who they squeaked by last week with a 1 point win...good games on the opening nights!

is #34 Josh Craddock? I know the addition of Efflin Tyler has added size and athleticism for the Juggernauts. The are learning the new style with the addition of Tyler. Z. Craddock is also playing well. Coach Mike Key will have this team ready come district time. :dancingpa

With Holy Cross knocking off Ryle the other night, I wouldn't count them out either. I think they play NCC in the first round. I'll say winner in that game takes it all and represents the 9th!

Tired? Holmes played 4 nights in a row too! Congrats to all teams involved, and also to Mike Key who put on a superb tournament!

They can play with Brossart if they played the way they did against W. Jessamine. I was impressed with their style of play. They seemed to favor an up tempo style, which is not only exciting to watch, but it looked like they were having fun doing it. People said to give them time to mature and mold this group, and I for one will be ANOTHER to say good job to the coaching staff and the team, and all of us are just waiting for that bug upset that you all deserve!
