NCC06 Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 NCC should roll through this tourny... Although HC and ST. Henry are strong teams NCC must play better than they played last night though
UserName Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 NCC should roll through this tourny... Although HC and ST. Henry are strong teams NCC must play better than they played last night though I agree with you NCC06. NewCath should win, however I would like to see them play with more heart than they did last night. Last night's game was ugly.
NCC06 Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Yes even though they did not shoot it well last night was you could see the frustration on there faces after misses and turnovers they were not determined enough to take over the game like they should have
Mr. Athletics Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 I like Newcath but don't count out Ludlow and CHC.
Hamilton Joe Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 I like Newcath but don't count out Ludlow and CHC. I would agree. It would be nice to see one of the schools along the river to emerge from the Class A victorious.
CatPride24 Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 I would agree. It would be nice to see one of the schools along the river to emerge from the Class A victorious. Ludlow losing Kassi Wofford, their point guard for the past 5 years, to graduation last year is still effecting Ludlow. They have great post players with good size inside, but are vulnerable to NCC's press. I think NCC is the clear cut favorite.

Here's hoping that by tourney time the Panthers will find someone to fill that void.
*Jeanie* Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Ludlow. i think they'll be the winner. Playing good ball this year!
futurecoach Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Ludlow. i think they'll be the winner. Playing good ball this year! I glad to see you picked Ludlow. However Ludlow actually has not been playing that good of ball this year YET. This team definitely has not played up to its potential thus far this season. However last night in the second half against Villa they looked really good. So thats a good sign in hoping that they will start to play to their potential come the All A time, because if they do they very easily could win the All A...
futurecoach Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 NCC should roll through this tourny... Although HC and ST. Henry are strong teams NCC must play better than they played last night though NCC is the favorite. However I disagree that they should roll through the tourny. I mean they have a very tough first round game in Holy Cross. NCC actually has a very tough road ahead of them to even make the finals. The top 4 teams in the tourny are all on the same side of the bracket. I know Ludlow has to play St. Henry in the 1st round of the tournament, and the winner of that game could also very well beat NCC. NCC showed the other night against Brossart that they are not unstoppable for the smaller schools in losing to Brossart. A team which Ludlow beat by double digits...
futurecoach Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 NCC should roll through this tourny... Although HC and ST. Henry are strong teams NCC must play better than they played last night though I dont know why you didn't put Ludlow as one of the strong teams as well. Ludlow just last night beat St. Henry, and also beat that Brossart team by double digits, who beat NCC. Actually IMO NCC and Ludlow probably are the two favorites to win it. However both teams will have a very tough time even making it to the finals because of tough first round games against HC and St. Henry. Then the winners of those games have to play in the 2nd round. No disrespect to the other teams, but most likely the actual championship that will determine who will be going down to richmond will be taking place in the 2nd round of the tournament with the winners of those two games IMO.
Andtheheadcoach Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 With Holy Cross knocking off Ryle the other night, I wouldn't count them out either. I think they play NCC in the first round. I'll say winner in that game takes it all and represents the 9th!
