They have beaten Holy Cross, Brossart by double digits (a team that just beat NCC), St. Henry which people think is a team that could also win the All "A", Dixie, Scott and also beat a good team which I cant remember their name in a tournament down state last year. The only game against one of the top 4 teams last year was against Highlands and Highlands won. However Ludlow will be playing Boone, Holmes, and Ryle here coming up, and if they beat St. Henry again tonight they will be playing NCC. So got a chance to go out there now and get some even better wins...

NCC beat Holy Cross last night in overtime to advance. Holy Cross actually blew the game at the end...

Not to butt heads again, but I thought Ludlow lost to Scott on 12/3 55-41 and

lost to Dixie 12/21 61-55. If this is false, it changes my perspective some on Ludlow.......

No you are correct. But the guy asked for over the last two years, and Ludlow beat those teams last year. That kind of goes back to what I was talking about earlier, when Ludlow was not playing the way they were capable of and lost a couple of games they shouldn't have. And that is why people are getting a little excited now because Ludlow seems to have started to play to their potential and beating the teams they should beat and doing it easily and it is coming at the right time of the year with the All A coming up.

MY BAD .....I know nothing of previous years except what I have learned going to games and chatting with the locals.....I see where the excitement and optimism is stemming from now!

As both a coach and an official... Holy Cross did not totally blow that game themselves. There were a couple of critical calls that just didn't go the way they should have. Watching that game, HC is definitely the better of the two teams.

Well we will really see what Ludlow has in a couple of nights... The fact is that they have not really earned the respect like NCC, Boone, HHS, NDA... They do not go down into the state and play the top teams in the state like the other four do and that may be a very good reason that are 12-3.... I am pretty sure that they would not be 12-3 if they played the schedule of NDA, HHS, Boone, and Newcath... That being said they are still a good team and will give NCC all they can handle

I have seen both Ludlow and NCC play. Both have excellent post play.

Cundiff and Dougherty will cancel eachother out.

The difference will will be the guard play and NCC has the edge with Sandfoss.

NCC will advance in a good game vs Ludlow. Winner will go on to win the ALL A in the 9th.

I dont think anyone really has tried to say Ludlow is as good as NDA, HHS, or Boone yet. I mean as you kind of said they haven't proven they should be up there yet. However they will be playing Boone here soon, so that would be a good measuring stick game. Ludlow at the the moment though is right on the outside. However as for NCC, I think Ludlow is just as talented as NCC this year. I mean I definitely dont think you can be saying NCC is another league than Ludlow, considering your NCC team lost to Brossart, who was a team Ludlow beat by double digits. This Ludlow team is definitely as talented as NCC. The biggest thing for Ludlow is for the girls to realize they are as talented, and its not that big talent gap like there use to be when they use to play NCC. They need to go into the game, and not get nervous about playing a team like NCC, because they are just as talented and they just need to believe that now. If Ludlow comes out and plays confident and plays their game, they very well could win this game. It should be a great game, and honestly will come down to how Ludlows guards do...

Ludlow is a good tem that beat Brossart in a pretty close game.

The game was within 2 with two minutes left. Brossart had to foul and Ludlow made it's foul shots.

Ludlow is certainly capable of beating NCC. They play hard and are well coached.

It will definatly come down to guard play and I feel NCC has the advantage.

NCC by 3.

32minutesofpressure I will give ya a big thumbs up on the clary girl... She is proved alot this year.. Just hope she dont let her confidence down...

I haven't seen NCC play but i am sure they are tough, but I think that if Ludlow plays their game, they could give NCC a good game, but I also hope that Ludlow doesn't let the factor the they are playing NCC intimidate them because they could very well win. Good Luck both Teams.

If NCC beats Beechwood, they will also beat Ludlow and it should be a good game!

You make it sound like there is a better chance Beechwood would beat NCC then Ludlow. No offense to Beechwood, but they just don't have the talent to beat NCC. And there is no way you can be as confident as you are that NCC will beat Ludlow. Ludlow this year is definitely just as talented as NCC. It just comes down to if the girls actually know that, and dont let the fact that their playing NCC intimidate them like in years past when NCC was the more talented team. Ludlow's team this year is just as talented, and if they come out confident and play their game, there is a good chance Ludlow wins the game actually...It should be a good game, and as I said it really will come down to the guard play of Ludlow.
