Gallatin will do just fine this year. I think they will have a cake walk to the all A. And I would look for them to make some noise in the region this year.

Walton has blown up this year they will not return one big guy on the inside. The way the team sets up right now they look like they may be running a five guard offense.

Scott is actually in the 10th region. Walton with five regional apperences for a small school seems pretty good. I also believe in those years they went pretty far in the all a also. Walton also seems to play alot of the 9th region competition year in and year out. So I would have to put them ahead of schools such as ludlow and even St. Henry.

I agree completly but for some reason there are people out there that think there are no good teams in the 8th. I do love how people think that the only good team is SK but they have failed to make it out of the 8th the past two years they where here. Not to mention this is arguably one of there best teams ever. You go figure it out.:thumb:

Brown is good but to say he is the only player coming back for Gallatin is one of the most wrong comments I have heard on here. Walton played Gallatin twice last year and I watched them play around ten times last year and the best all around player I saw out there was Maddox. This Gallatin team will be good next year and will most likely win the 8th all A. And that is coming from a Walton fan who really does not care for Gallatin that much.

I miss throwing the ball against a wall and waiting just long enough you could make a diving catch to save the game. I miss taping up the wiffle ball so I could throw a curve ball like the pros. I miss the metal bat and tennis ball to see who could hit the ball the furthest. I miss sitting at a game and watching the little things that win games instead of waiting around for someone to hit it out. I miss the carpet burn I use to get from practicing my sliding in the hall way of the house.

I was wondering where these two were going to go. I got to know these kids alot over the past couple years with summer ball and they are good kids who will do good on the next level.

I agree they will still have a good team next year and will compete to go back to state but I think teams are going to make Henderson there main focus when they play. Which was something they just could not do this past year.

The USA today has them at twenty four. Which is still really good.

This is a good win for Walton I did not get the chance to see this game but I have heard alot of good things about the Owen Co. team. Ryan for Walton pitched a complete game for the win. It seeems to me that the pitching at Walton has been good but they are struggling with some errors, but mostly it seems they have trouble getting the bats to work.

It will be intresting to see how Henderson reacts this year without Rice and Hill to help and take some of the pressure off him. On a side note I love Mcfarlands game I think he will be a great player for the next two years.

I think Simpson may be the best all around player next year. But Henderson is the best athlete.

I hope not I hate to hear stories like this.

You just can't get away from the Owen Co. Gallatin Co. match up no matter what sport.

Congrats to bovard, this has been a good year for kids from this area going on and playing at the next level.

Jones will return for Walton next year he is only a junior and he will be looked at to do most of the scoring I would think. Starting five for Walton next year will be. PG-Ponzer SG-Jones SF-Martin F-Kirk F-Hopperton Not tall at all but all five will be able to shoot the ball.

At Gallatin then you have to give them the advantage because it is always hard to go into there and win. (I won't say why):sssh: As for Walton second I don't know about that, they return some guards who got playing time last year with Martin and Kirk but they have nobody to battle on the inside.

Waltons boy team may have some struggles this year with the lose of seven seniors from last years team.
