I am going to be picky here. I did not like the quote from CC's coach that (to paraphrase) says that the reason that Trimble beat them four out of four times is that they (Carroll) didn't play well in any of those games. Doesn't Trimble deserve any credit for that? One or two times maybe...but four times?

That kind of sounds like a sore losser to me. :thumb:

For what it is worth I would say he is probably trying to build confidence and motivate CC to make them feel they can win! They did not have this at the beginning of the year.

 

I do know that the boys and the Coach have a lot of respect for what TC has done this year..I think they represent our district well!

That may have been his intent and I have seen that done on more than one occassion. However, it usually begins or ends with complimenting the other team.
