Coach Wright is a lot better coach now than he was eight years ago. But if you look at his record before and after Roscoe got there, you will see that it is drastically better since Roscoes arrival. Roscoe Denny has won consistantly at every stop. Wright has won consistantly since Roscoe got there. I think Coach P is an excellent coach ,that like Wright, will get better with time. Good SL at Rupp.

Corbin and Cooach P need to hire Roscoe away from South and the Hounds will be headed to Rupp. He is by far and away the best X's and O's coach in the area. His record speaks for itsself.

Roscoe Denny is headed back to the sweet 16 again. This makes his 11th trip if I am not mistaken.

Congats Lincoln. I thought PC's size would give you all trouble, but I was wrong. What did Pulaski shoot from the FT line? It seemed like they missed a bunch in the 2nd half. Young, Spurin and Keeton are nice players.

Who all will return next year for west?

This will be a great game. PC will have a hard time guarding Lincolns quickness, but Lincoln will have a hard time guarding PC's size. Lincoln has experience, PC has the home court advantage. I am taking Pulaski in an upset 58-52.

Roscoe strikes again.

Wayne looked good early but looked timid in the 2nd half. They had several turnovers and just looked out of sync. They missed some shots and then it appeared no one wanted to step up except for Wells. But Somerset did a nice job of guarding him. Gregory ( whom I think is an excellent player) seemed to not be on his game tonight. Good Win Coach Thacker and Somerset. Since you all won tonight I Guess we can assume that you all didn't discuss the ALL "A" during the halftime speech

The only chance we had was to slow it down and keep the the score low. It was a 7 point game going into the 4th quarter( thanks to Trevors shot) which was perfect for us. Then in the 4th quarter we it seemed like either Lincoln got the offensive rebounds or we got the rebound and they just took it from us. Spulin was whipped our tails. In my opinion this game wasn't won during the 4th quarter tonight but it was won in the summertime and fall. Lincoln Co. just had better basketball players with better skills than we did. The best team won the game last night.

Good win for PC. Good Luck against Lincoln Co. There is going to be some match up problems both ways. It should be an interesting game.

You are right he hit 3's, hit 2's, and rebounded. I am fully aware that we have to play against him for three more years.:irked: He seems like a great kid as do all of Coach Woods players. Dunnagan might just be the best thing to come out of Wayne County since Todd McFarland, Corey Ryan and Grant Clark.

Thanks AJG. I think there are 6 other teams that would like to see us upset them. Now that McCreary is out, Lincoln is the favorite on paper. But anything can happen in tournament time. It will depend on which SW team shows up. It could be SW by 1 in another major upset or it could be Lincoln Co. by 52.

What about that offensive rebound/ tip in that Gregory made. That was one nice athletic play.

No one around here has won a region since 1992, when PC did. Two Reasons 1) When SW was built (giving this area 3 schools) it spread out the talent, in essence hurting both PC and Somerset. If you put Casey Daulton , Jonathon Edwards, TW Sears, Cory Dixon, Shawn Whitis, and the Perkins brothers on the same team last year, that would have been a Regional championship team that would have played on Saturday in Rupp Arena. 2) The elementary feeder system has been broke for sometime. But thanks to Steve Butcher and Jeff Cotheran, we now have the Pulaski County Youth Basketball League this year and that will pay off in the future. Our youngsters are playing in AAU leagues and this will also play off in the future.

Wayne took us to the woodshed tonight. We looked aweful and it was because Wayne made us look that way. They got in our grill defensively and just dominated us. yes but its probably the same people that rumbles about the baseball coaches, the football coaches, the middle school coaches, the principals, the teachers, and the greens keeper at their golf club.
