Lincoln County 62 Pulaski County 47

Featured Replies

Lincoln County gets the winner of the West Jessamine/Pulaski County game tomorrow night in the Final.

The Patriots will be looking for a return to Rupp Arena for the Sweet Sixteen.

Good win for the Patriots! Pulaski was just out manned in this game. Coach Jeff really knows his stuff.

Lincoln County will be tough to beat with the threesome of Young,Keaton and Spurlin

Congrats to LC for the win and I think a repeat trip to the Sweet 16. My youngest son who is a graduate at LC will be there tomorrow along with his dad to pull for the Patriots.

Lincoln jumped out 16-2 in about the frist minute and a half before the Maroons came storming back to take the lead at 23-22.

The Patriots had their hands full for 2 1/2 quarters.

Congats Lincoln. I thought PC's size would give you all trouble, but I was wrong. What did Pulaski shoot from the FT line? It seemed like they missed a bunch in the 2nd half.

Young, Spurin and Keeton are nice players.

Spurlin is the difference. He got in foul trouble very early in the first half. PC got the game back in their favor when he was out. He sit out most of the first half. He played a lot the second half, dominated the game.

I think the game will be tuff tomorrow, West Jess plays a very deliberate brand of basketball. I just think Ryan Young and crew will do it one more time. I don't think Young, Keeton, Gilbert and Owsley had played many games (because of football) the last time the two teams met.

If Spurlin hadn't got the two early fouls, this would have been a 10-15 point game at halftime and Lincoln County would have coasted. In the long run, however, it might not have been the worst thing for Lincoln to have some adversity like this.

True....

Spurlin and Ralston should be well rested at least.:thumb:

Did Ralston even score this evening?

He either had two or five. Stayed in foul trouble, an really hasn't been himself during the first two rounds. I look for him to have a big game tomorrow.

I thought Ryan Young really took it to #3 for Pulaski (who seemed to no be having much fun)

#3 for Pulaski talked and complained way too much, especially for a player who wasn't very good. Young seemed to be frustrated with the nonsense from the Pulaski kid, but he maintained his composure well.

Yeah, I though he did show more frustration than usual (he is mild tempered). I think he was frustrated with the lack of fouls being call on PC. They handchecked him to death, and called some ticky-tacks on Spurlin early on to get him out of the game.

I got a little worried when Keeton went down, they can't play without him either. He is the "pure" shooter of the bunch.
