Lincoln County 62 Pulaski County 47

Spurlin is the difference. He got in foul trouble very early in the first half. PC got the game back in their favor when he was out. He sit out most of the first half. He played a lot the second half, dominated the game.

I think the game will be tuff tomorrow, West Jess plays a very deliberate brand of basketball. I just think Ryan Young and crew will do it one more time. I don't think Young, Keeton, Gilbert and Owsley had played many games (because of football) the last time the two teams met.

When I got there Lincoln was up by 10 and their pressure was giving PC fits. In the 2nd quarter however, PC quit taking the first available shot after breaking Lincoln's pressure and hit some big 3's. That seemed to get the Patriots off of their game a little bit and they tried to match PC's outside shooting and let the Maroons back in it. In the 2nd half with Spurlin back in their Lincoln got back in their game and started just shredding Pulaski off of the dribble. Once PC cooled off a little bit from outside Lincoln just pulled away. I think West will take a little bit better care of the ball and can stay with the Patriots better off of the dribble but I don't think they can do it often enough to pull the upset. I'll take the Patriots 62-54.

As SW did, Pulaski played with the Patriots for 2 1/2 Quarters, but then Lincoln Co. just took over.
