Ethon Spurlin was a manchild inside tonight hitting the offinsive glass with some big put backs. One thing Lincoln better start hitting there free throws or that will come back to haunt them in the future. Good job Pats lets get ready for the semi finals.

SW did a good job dicatating tempo, and slowing down the game. The problem with playing that way is that you make a ten point game a twenty point game.

 

Personally, watching a game like tonight makes me wish they would put a shot clock in high school basketball. The style of offensive SW was running is outdated and boring.

I'll agree, Southwestern did play the slow down offense which made for a boring game. But with the style that they played tonight it got a little more ball movement and it spread the floor also.They got some open looks but the shots just did not fall. Good luck to Lincoln County against Pulaski County Monday night.

Southwestern was doing what they had to to give them a chance. I thought they did a very good job of it and they were in the game until the fourth quarter. Unfortunately Lincoln was composed enough stretch the lead and force Southwestern to speed up the tempo a little. Also it seemed as if Lincoln outhustled the Warriors especially on the glass.

I thought Ethan Spurlin outhustled everyone on the court tonight. He looked the "pre-mono" Ethan. I thought he was playing better than anyone on the team before mono, tonight was the first time he looked like that player again. I think the rest time really helped, the long layoff until next week will only continue to help him get stronger.

I don't know the exact stats on the boards, I very well could be wrong but I thought that it was pretty close on the boards tonight.

The final numbers may have been pretty close it just seems like there was a stretch where Lincoln got every rebound and that played a big part of them opening up the lead.

Loved the shot Trevor Jones hit at the end of the third quarter from 55 feet.

Good win for Lincoln! They need to keep on rolling right into Rupp.

The only chance we had was to slow it down and keep the the score low. It was a 7 point game going into the 4th quarter( thanks to Trevors shot) which was perfect for us. Then in the 4th quarter we it seemed like either Lincoln got the offensive rebounds or we got the rebound and they just took it from us. Spulin was whipped our tails.

 

In my opinion this game wasn't won during the 4th quarter tonight but it was won in the summertime and fall. Lincoln Co. just had better basketball players with better skills than we did. The best team won the game last night.
