I didnt say the refs gave the win to Ashland. I was impressed with their coach- he had scouted well and attacked R.H.s zone at their weaknesses. I think Ashland wins that game anyway tonight. With that said the discrepencyin F.T.s is a glaring stat because of the above mentioned reasons as well as Ashland shooting around 25 three pointers .

You are right S.B.-- you would have thought by the discrepency in F.T.s--they were in a pressing man to man defense

I dont think most R.H. fans were banking on a win tonight. I think most believe next year will be the turning year. Did you realize with 3 minutes left in the 1st quarter R.H. was playing with one 8th grader, two 9th graders , one soph., and one junior.I would say the future is bright.

The fouls called affected R.H. much more . They are a different team without Chad Jackson playing. When he was taken out with his 4th foul it was a 6 point game. I thought 2 of his fouls were very questionable. it is impossible to establish your "presence" in foul trouble. An interesting stat--Ashland shot 25 free throws and R.H. shot 4 for the game. Quite a difference when you realize R.H. is not a physical team , didnt press, or foul at the end in an attempt to get back in the game.

If by their future you mean the R.H. girls program, I think they will be down 1-2 years and then come back strong. They have an excellent group of young girls who are gaining invaluable experience now, not unlike when Emily and Laura played alot of minutes when they were younger. I think the future will be bright for them. I can only hope the teams that will want to schedule R.H. next year will still play them when they develop.

Now exactly why is that some of these public schools are complaining that the private schools dont have a TRUE district?

I enjoyed the article and the good press MTSU received from it. I think alot of people would be surprised by their strength of schedule(14th in the country). Here's hoping Emily becomes a major factor in their program.:thumb:
