Anybody remember Marshall Sidebottom, whatever happened to him? As I recall he was a good announcer. Jim Forrest does a good job, but he tries to "ref" more than ANYBODY.

Dickey Martin is as good as anyone, He's excellent, especially when he doesn't "referee" at the same time. hehehe

HAHAHAHAH some of those were pretty good, funny.

Rockcastle is for real, they are tough. Bell is young, look out for them later.

Just thought this might be fun. Big games tonight, many will be whining about something. Such as: 1. "The Refs" 2. "It was COLD" 3. "The field was muddy" 4. "The field was dry?" 5. Did I mention the Refs?.......any more good ones?

By everything i'm reading, this might be the best game in the state this weekend.

This will be a great game, wish I could be there, but duty calls. I pick Belfry, due to tradition, Haywood, and (no insult to SC), Belfry, IMO, just seems to be a little stronger this time.

WOW ! ! ! This has to be one of the best threads ever. The love of the game, pride, tradition, team mates, fans, excitement, it's all this, and a lot more.

Just one more comment about the "media": I have a "background" in radio/tv to an extent, and I believe they should try to be impartial, or at least fair.

Running the replay of the MISSED FG attempt at Ashland, over and over and over.........that's the only example I will give, the others I think of may just be my opinion only.

They'll blame the refs if "their team" doesn't win. I can give examples, but i won't. They are biased, for ratings sake.

Just a comment: God did NOT create the sexes alike (thankfully), there are some things that men are not adapted for, and some things women are not adepted for. Yes, there are a few exceptions. Just my opinion, I'm entiteled to it, everyone is entiteled to their own.
