IMO Smith at SOuth Laurel has it all to play in the majors someday: 6'6 185 ?good velocity, not sure of grades but would bet that he is 4.0 student. His #1 strength is a very aggressive pitcher, not afraid to challenge anyone.

I know the reason that we(Corbin) are not playing Bell Co. anymore, Our coaches fills that our program is not up to the Bell Co. level and it's hard for me to say that, but the truth is the truth. I was wondering why Middlesboro is not playing them.

I would think that COrbin has not had a losing season in over 20 years

The news in Corbin is he is going back to Middlesboro to help Sowders.

I've been out of town for the past 2 weeks, when the CSX calls you must go. My question for the Middlesboro people and this may be old news, why is it that Middlesboro and Bell Co. don't play this year.

The Red pups win by 40 or more. Don't believe anyone in district can play within 40 of the Redhounds. Besides Corbin, rest of the district is very weak.

I had the chance to watch a kid or should a say man from Whitley County play about 3 weeks ago and he is D-1, the roster had him at 6-5 265 # 76 He will play on Sat. somewhere.

This is not about Corbin coaches or Bell Co. coaches , this is a rival between two good programs and great fan support. If this is about coaches, put it to rest and let the players play and fans enjoy a great game with great atmosphere on friday night.

IMO Middlesboro has a reason to drop Bell, they can't compete with them. Corbin on the other hand has competed and has beaten Bell over the past 4 or5 years. Middlesboro program has really drop since 1998 state championship team. I hope that our coaches don't think that we are headed in the same direction as Middlesboro.

I would like to see Clays non-district schedule for next year.

Corbin will not dodge anyone and never has. It's hard for me to believe that COrbin will not play Bell. I will talk with some of our coaches to find out about this.

I hope that the Corbin and Bell series continues, it would be a crying shame if the two doesn't play. Great crowds and always very hard played by both sides. I would like to know more about this before i say any more.
