I hope there baseball can compete better than the rest of there athletic programs. Football, boys and girls basketball has been very poor.

Are you kidding me, they have watered down there schedule. Did Corbin fill the 11th week game and if not why not Bell.

Deaton will get plenty of callers this spring, there are several schools in the region that would love to have him,that are in better districts than Whitley is in. I know of one that has already approached him about a job next year in the 13th.

I must have watched a different game than everyone else. It look to me that JBS was getting some wide open layups. I don't know if they should have pressed at all. JBS coach did a better job at the end of the game coaching.

If this is true, then the coach has lost his mind for playing the kid. This would set a team back several weeks.

I had a chance to talk with Tom Duffy at the State Championship games a few month ago and if you like taking shots at people, you need to take a few at him. Didn't have to many good things to say about the Bluebirds.

I woould hope that Harlan Co. wouldn't settle for 4-6 and 5-5 seasons. That is why you go hire a Hilton and pay the man big money. He will win, and will be top in the state. Harlan could be like a small college program, if the right person is hired. Someone mentioned Hensley, better check out his record at a big school like Dunbar.

Should be close, but BEll is having inside trouble from talking with friends at BEll. Not enough basketballs to go around.

Bell may be just a little overrated

On the SLusher situation, Bell may be better off with him gone. That way # 23 would start, he is really impressive and should be a starter, instead of subing with # 21(Turner). # 4 really struggled for Bell, someone said he was a freshman. I say that # 3 for Shelby Valley is a freshman and plays like a junior.

Shelby Valley wins. I believe the Redhounds will be better than Bell by season end. Corbin is really young like Shelby Valley and they gave us hope in Redhound country.

Just got home. Sheby Valley won in O.T. Bell really got out coached IMO. Shebly Valley started 3 freshman and beat the # 2 team in the mountains. (over-rated)
