Im sure of this... Bryan Hall from Paducah Tilghman was the winner, Kennedy Coffey of Russell County second, Curtis Marshall from Newport finished third... Not completely sure of girls discus... Lindi Berry Webster County first, Pam Bell Paducah Tilghman second, Chinwe Okoro Russell third

I just found out that Newport's Curtis Marshall won the shot put event for Region 5 AA... he and a young man from Lewis County will be headed to Paul Dunbar...

The Wildcats return everyone but a DE and a CB on D. On offense the Wildcats lost everyone but 3 i think maybe 4

When NCC and Newport played this season Newports cheering section was ALOT louder than NCC's ... I didnt hear a word out of the NCC side until late in the fourth when NCC got the lead back.. but then they were quiet again a few seconds later

The Head Coach from Bishop Brossart did shake hands with Coach Russell of Newport but did not even look at any other coaches or players from Newport

yes... I believe Newports policy is "If the class ended today, would the student pass the class?" ... and if not ... No games until the grad is brought up to passing

Im pretty sure that at Newport you have to be passing 75% of your classes

No... IMO NCC and Newport would have about the same shot at beating Highlands as the other... I also believe that with John Schlarman at Newport, Newport would have the better shot at getting this game if Schlarman wanted to

Like most would love to see this game. Don't see it happening, but one can hope... I also wouldnt mind the Birds coming into Newport Stadium.... but against the public school...

I believe Newport is returning its two strongest from the football team this past year... Junior to be Devon Boxx and Senior to be Curtis Marshall... not sure if they are the strongest in the school though
