So if it were to play out like this the 1st round games would be..with each team W's records as of now Spencer at Mercer Lloyd at Newport? correct me if I am wrong..

I know this could be alot... BUT what IF Newport and Mercer win out and Lloyd beats Spencer and N.O. , Spencer beats N.O.... that would leave the district records with Mercer 5-0, Newport 3-2, Lloyd 3-2, Spencer 3-2 How do the tie breakers work in this case?

I do not understand where you got this comment from... I have seen Newport practice a few times this year and saw them today... If anything this game for Newport was a wake up call...

I believe Newport is improving their team the past few years... They had two throwers make the State Shot Put event, Deven Boxx and Curtis Marshall who finished third in his first year throwing and Anthony Schoo who made State in Long Jump in his first year... now hopefully the runners and other field events step up

Beechwood should roll with the anger from last season and Bellevue not being as good as last year.

Does Newport come out looking to kill after the loss to Mercer or does Spencer have the team to stop them again? I really think that this Spencer County team could get the 4th playoff spot in this district... maybe even the third.

A couple Newport students go to Holmes High for a couple classes... maybe they should merge... and just be Newport High in 2A... everyone alright with this?

Unless Mercer County is as superior as every one makes them seem... This should be a defensive battle ... Hopefully with the Wildcats coming out on top..
