I'm not saying Corbin didn't deserve the late hit penalty, it was a late hit OOB. It just didn't appear to be intentional....maybe it was. Nothing from Corbin was near what a couple of NL players did several times....well after plays were over and officials were concentrating on other things. Things did get a little testy, I am amazed there was not a fight on the field....

We did have one personal foul called on us. It was a late hit out of bounds. From where I sat it didn't appear to be a cheap shot....it was on the far side line.

I listened.... Sounded OK for the first game of the season. Superman needs to get a handle on the ball...... Unreal that Smallwood starts on the OL and Manns is starting at TE. Manns will serve the team much better on the OL and will greatly improve his stock as far as schollys go if he plays OL. He will catch no more than 10 passes this season. It seems that certain players get to play where they want and others play where they are told............

The "old Bell" was never considered to be a threat in district play. It wasn't until well after consolidation that they ever beat corbin, not sure of the Bell/Middlesboro history before the consolidation.

Before the sub districts Corbin, Middlesboro and the old Bell co (before consolidation) were in the same district. Last game of the regular season was Corbin/Middlesboro. Winner went to the playoffs loser stayed home. The 1983 team was/is considered one of, if not the best at Corbin. I also think it was one of the best teams in Somerset history. I think Corbin scored first and missed the extra point. Then drove the ball up and down the field but never could punch it in.

I also believe that Rob would be the only one that could/would fix the middle school program, if you want to call it a program.

I don't think Rob is dragging his feet, I think it's Corbin..........time will tell if the Admin does the right thing or goes with another questionable coach in a 3rd sport.:idunno:

Anyone other than Rob Leddington would be a silly mistake. There are no better coaches or people around.......

I have to disagree with that Les. Corbin had a huge following at Rupp, way more than region............I think I remember that the session 2 attendance was a record for 1st round games?????:idunno:
