Corbin has not had problems scoring on anyone...whether it be 1A or 6A. The Hounds had a defensive breakdown against Knott for a half. Should be a good game. I hope to be there, if not I will try to provide updates.

Yeah...it was 37-0 at the half. Watkins, Fritts, Taylor and others did not step foot on the playing field in the 2nd half. Mitchell did play in the 3rd qtr but handed the ball to freshman and sophomore backs. Middlesboro's tds came against the freshman. Great game by Watkins....again. 4 tds....95 yd KO return, INT return for a td where a ref tried to tackle him :lol:, 2 rushing tds. No idea how many rushing yards he had. He also had 1 td called back.

I don't have the pictures anymore, but Corbin's field house is pretty nice. offices, showers/locker rooms (football), retractable batting cages, portable mounds, weight room, and so on. The facility is used for all outdoor sports...boys and girls. Funds were donated to the Varsity Club by the community for the construction.

No, no....that was an excellent ranking. I'm from Corbin and we don't deserve a top 25 ranking. I was basically thinking out loud. Ft. C may deserve where you rank them, I don't know them other than what I read here

Over 11 yards per carry, 2 KO return td's, 1punt return TD, receiving TD's, not sure about defensive TD's, leading tackler on the team. And he works the concession stand when he needs a rest:lol::popcorn: I would love to see his numbers if he got the number carries that others around the state get. Caleb is probably the most impressive player I can remember at Corbin in at least 25 years, and that is saying something, JMO. And you have to consider that this is a Corbin team that the line is undersized against every team they play, Watkins probably out weighs most of the Corbin linemen. Corbin is never a serious threat to throw this season. Caleb is usually the fastest and strongest kid on the field from either side.....

I would like to see Ft. Campbell play someone before they are ranked that high. I don't know anything about their out of state opponents. I know they are an excellent 2A team, and should win the 2A championship, but they are 2A. Lex Cath has not impressed me so far. LCA has impressed me but they are 1A as is Mayfield, very difficult for a 1A team to compete with most teams in this list. I also feel that CovCath would handle several teams ahead of them. JMO, overall a good ranking.:ylsuper:

Yep, big problems on D which have been there all season. We don't cover the QB very well or a run by the FB up the middle.
