That's funny:lol::lol::lol::lol: Don't believe for a minute that refs, even if they called for South, could make a difference in the outcome of this 18 point spread. Corbin was clearly the better team. St. John had 27?, but otherwise South didn't have enough athletes to stop Corbin tonight. Later on the tide may change but tonight belonged to Corbin, don't try to take that from these young men.

Not only does every basketball and baseball team get in post season play but the runner-up (loser) of the district is permitted to keep playing.

ALL footbal teams should meke the playoffs. Why should football be any different than other sports?

Good win, you kinda felt like the margin was actually more than it was. Kinda strange South not fouling until like 15 seconds left? South will improve, I just hope Corbin improves as much as they do.

If I remember correctly, last season Les picked South to lose games because everytime that he did they would win.................

On offense Corbin will lose 6 starters - Freeman, Campbell, Sewell, French, Hayden and Taylor. But returning is Watkins, Fritz, Matthew Taylor, Manns and 3 of the starting offensive linemen. We will be looking for a QB - Freshman Travis Smith should be recovered from a knee injury and figures to be a BIG time player before he leaves Corbin, if he plays. Travis excels at all sports but I feel that football is his future. Ben House and others should step in at WR and do fine. On defense gone are tackles Taylor and Creech, DE French, LB Campbell, DB's Sewell and Crawford.

One, of several, good changes will be the entire city of Bowling Green and WKU will be all about the finals. Louisville doesn't put a lot of effort into hosting the games. Bowling Green has several hotels/motels, shopping, ANY restaurant that you want. A couple years ago they hosted the Little League Baseball State Tournament you would have thought that they were hosting the Major League World Series.

Sounds about right. It's south on I-65. This year: (all mileages are approximate) I used the same mileage for all NKY teams. For the 1A game Beechwood traveled 103 miles, next year they would travel 214. Hazard traveled 188, next year 204. 2A: NCC traveled 103 miles, next year 214. Ft. Campbell this year 187 miles, next year 68. 3A: Breathitt traveled 157, next year 237. The route looked like it could be shorter. Central would travel the 110 miles or so to BG. 4A: Bullitt east traveled 28 miles this year, next year 104. Bell traveled 194 this year, 185 next year. 5A: Highlands traveled 103, next year 214. Christian Co. traveled 172, next year 64. . 6A: Simon Kenton 103 this year, 214 next. Trinity would travel the 110 or so miles next year.
