Do you feel the change of venue is good or bad?

My sons play and alls they ever talked about was getting to Papa Johns. I am glad BG is hosting the finals because they will go all out for this event, but I am sad that these kids that have never stepped foot in Papa Johns will not get the chance now. I am torn!!!

I agree the Papa Johns aura as a top stadium will be tough to overcome. But as to service to the fans, I have to believe Bowling Green will be better than what I have experienced over the past few years in Papa Johns.

They were out of hot chocolate by halftime! Seriously though, I still wish it stayed at Cardinal stadium.

Some of the easiest parking I have ever experienced was at Papa Johns and you walk 40 yrds right to the ticket booth and entry.

 

BG seems pretty far and with not having a son playing I may resort to catching next yrs finals on the web/radio.

It's necessary ... under the circumstances, it's the best move.

The best parking was at the old cardinal stadium.

It's probably posted elsewhere, so my apologies, but what is the reason for the change?

I hope it works out. Do not know how it can Top the 'Pizza Box". Maybe it can -will just have to wait and see. But has to be a thrill for the kids to play on a surface which is usually shown several times a year on national tv - ESPN. The place may not be full - but still a heck of a venue.

I will miss going to Papa Johns as well... But WKU is a quick drive from here! Woooo!

I went by the Stadium two weeks ago...The first time in a year and I must say it looks real nice...:thumb:

I will not be able to attend the games in BG like I could in PJCS. On Friday I could slide in and out of work and Saturday was an all day deal for me every year. Now I am not sure that I will be able to attend them like that any more.

I think it had something to do with the weekend the finals will be played. Papa Johns could not guantee that it would be available therefore they did not submit a bid for the championships.
