Before the game I heard the Hounds will be off until Tuesday......I wonder if that will still be the case with the D playing so poorly in the first half. The agreement before the game was once corbin was up 35 they would use the running clock. It took a long while but once we got the 35 point lead we pulled ALL starters. Say what you want about coach Jewell, but he has never ran up the score on anyone intentionally. Too many times (for me anyway) he will pull starters with a lead of only 3 tds or so... mid way in the 3rd. Most times Caleb touched the ball he scored, I can't remember a touch that went for less than 20 yards....that is rushing, receiving, KO return or punt return. And this kid isn't included in Mr. Football conversation??

Not sure what the play is called - but on occasion we split a lineman wide, I will not go into more detail but that play should have been tried in the 4th.

Opposing defense just keys on Caleb and I don't blame them....if they have something else to draw their attention both Caleb and Ryan and ultimately Corbin will benefit. Why is it that we do not account for the QB running the ball? We have been burned by the QB in almost every game this year and many in the past seasons. If, by a lucky chance, we make the state finals imagine what Antonio Andrews could do to us....

Not sure what we did tonight....I wasn't there..... with the way teams are keying on Caleb and the way that Fritz is coming along we should run more plays with both in the backfield. Remember last year Fritz was probably considered the better back coming into the season. Watkins has more speed and power (D1 player IMO) but Fritz has that Barry Sanders style plus is showing more power. ...Looks better each week. I'm not a football expert but just saying... I also like Caleb as a receiver, not many (if any) will run him down and he seems to have good hands.

That couldn't have been an automatic call. Tell me that the upback had an option on this call depending on the defense.......No coach in his right mind would have called this.....

Yes it was "Gutsy". If it doesn't work what do you call it.:eek: But it worked, great game by GRC and Corbin.

I felt all week this was going to be a tough game. Talked to some of the coaches this week and they said that GRC is an athletic team, but if we could force them to some early turnovers or stick a couple quick scores on the board, they thought it could go our way, otherwise they said we were in trouble. I didn't go to the game, it sounded entertaining. The fake punt on 4th and forever was crazy, but won the game for GRC

They are saying "20 minutes or so" on the radio, if no more lightning. Forecast for tomorrow is worse than tonight.... We shall see. I'm gonna head that way in about 15.

What appears to be a very explosive Hazard team travels to Corbin. I think this could be Corbin's toughest opponent to date. Thoughts.

OK, I will give credit where due. I wasn't at the game, listened. That was the feel I got.

Tough to lose players such as Kues and Kelly. Good luck the remainder of the season.

Not sure if it was a good showing by South D or a poor showing by Corbin O. Corbin passed much more than usual tonight...I thought. Almost seemed as though they wanted to "work" on the passing game.

After a couple comments I'm finished with this one. Corbin played pretty good for 2 1/2 quarters. North for 1 1/2. Fritts is looking better after surgery. I realize now that Smallwood will serve this team better on the OL and Manns will serve this team better as a TE. Caleb is one of the top 3 players at his position I have watched at Corbin since 1976. North didn't really seem to be improved much from last year...maybe more fundamental. They did have many more fans this year. I think they had more players than fans last year and the game was at North. Good luck the remainder of the season Jags.
