While at a UK football game a native New Zealander who goes to UK and lives in this country sat down and waved his New Zealand flag during the national anthem. Needless to say there was almost a brawl.

I didn't see the margin being this close, but its like i said, Holmes can either be the best team in NKY or the worst in the state. It looks like they just didn't have enough this game. dang:D O and by the way Tommy Gibson is the man!:banana:

How'd SK's passing game look?

At Dixie they put Justin Kohrs in after Breeden got injured. With the depth SK has i don't think that the injury will take too much of a toll on SK. If Kohrs doesn't go in Haught or a sophmore Jordan Wilson will be ready to jump in and play. Haught is a very gifted athelete and could play many positions on the field, and Jordan will be a stud in the coming years. Both are a step up from Breeden IMO.

Depends on what type of team you have. If its strength is in the offense then definately a place kicker is more important. But if the strength is defense then field position if the most important part of the game.

Barring injury the lineups will not change the rest of the year. Tommy Gibson is the only offensive skill player that goes both ways, and the rest are better off on the offensive side of the ball.

I misread one of the above posts then, Palmer is quite an athelete. I can't really have an opinion on the o-coordinator until i see him get shut down by SK :banana: :banana: just kiddin, but not really....

I'm pretty sure the loss of those two gave him no option but to run. They were vere explosive atheletes.

Well i guess it'd have to depend on how muddy the field was. I've seen fields where it was too sloppy to even think of a pass.

I'd say a big strong running team. Muddy conditions are hell for a defender so i'd say any offensive position.

You're probably talking about Bryant Mitchell. I don't know exactly what happened to him because he is a great corner. Seriously, you wouldn't know if from the plays he gave up to Dixie, but if you saw him on a consistent basis you would understand. The biggest knock on him has to be his hands. He could honestly have close to double didget INT's but he has stones where his hands should be. Look for him to come up big the rest of the year.

SK was running a unique defense for dixie with a little cover zero mixed into it. They got burned once or twice with it, but o well, I'm not going to question coach Herbst's decisions because he really knows what he's doing. It'll be interesting to see what kind of defensive formations coach Herbst puts on the field against Duran.

Exactly. O and Nate is 5'6" 130. His size makes it that much more impressive.

Alright so i was wrong. I though it was 48-23 or 26 so i'm dyslexic i guess. O well. There's no need to get offended by a couple added points my man. Anywho bad calls or not 14-0 is 14-0 no excuses, and at no point was this game close last year. Holmes last one or two touchdowns were garbage points. The game was basically already over at that point. Neerfan said he had a good game, and was a great punter. Nowhere did he say that he killed anybody. One thing's for sure, Duran will be the best athelete on the field, but I think SK will be able to contain him ehough, especially since Austin is gone.

SK won by 20+ last year. What exactly did they kill/torch? It sound like you're a little too attached to holmes my friend...

Holmes is not disiplined, look at the film and you'll agree. As far as speed killing, i agree. On any given friday night Holmes can be the best team in NKY or the worst in the state. Its just if they show up or not.

There was at least one incomplete pass, trust me i remember that one.:cry: I don't know about two but it sounds right though.
