My comment may be a little off target, but personally I don’t like schools having the option to play up or move down. Set a number for each class, if you fall in that range, that’s the class you play in. Was this even an option before the 6 Class system?

Johnson Central: The return of a healthy Joe Jackson would be a great start.

Congrats to Coach Preston and the FS Wildcats on a dominating performance. Very determined and focused team took the other team to the woodshed tonight. JC’s running game was virtually non existent against the FS defense. The best team won tonight and left very little doubt in my mind. Happy for their team and their fans. Again Congrats!

Sweet program! Sort of sad seeing JC’s Joe Jackson on the cover. Hopefully he returns next season for JC at full strength and takes off where he left off his sophomore season!

First let me say, I hate that drive to Monticello. Great game last night by the Golden Eagles and Coach Matney on the road in a amped environment. Every time Wayne started to gather some momentum, JC converted on a big play. The 4th down pass right before halftime to give JC the 22-3 lead was huge. Wayne was able to answer with its first drive of the 2nd half and recapture the momentum. After holding JC on its initial drive if the 2nd half, Devin Johnson made one of those plays that make you say wow when he picked off the tipped pass and take it 60 yds to the house to stop Wayne’s momentum. Finally the muffed punt by Wayne was a killer. JC leader Gamble, who never takes a play off in the game, was able to convert on the Cardinals mistake and recover the fumble. Wayne had a great team and a great season. There team and fans were a class act last night in a tough situation. Good luck to them next season. Hopefully JC is able to finish next week they way this team deserves. Should be a dandy.

Happy for the Rams and their faithful and loyal fans! What a great program the Rams have. I was shocked when I saw last night this was their first ever trip to the finals with all the great teams and tradition they’ve had in the past. Hope you all are able to finish it all off against the Goliath.

Okay.

Physicality, much like the first game, took over late in the game, and the score indicated the result. Ashland has more athletes and team speed but JC’s size and strength wore the Tomcats down. Not fumbling so much helps to. The turnover battle was tied this go around, I would estimate JC had 500 to 600 yds on the ground.

Belfry will win but it’ll take 4 quarters. Should be a dandy early on though!

As big as they are, they fall short of the size Belfry possessed last year. That was simply unreal.

Low scoring affair, I like Paintsville in a close one, 12-7 Tigers.

I just hope JC comes to play Friday night.
