Congratulations on the win Tomcats.

Strong showing by the Tomcats against a dangerous Bourbon team with some talent. It's hard to believe, but this is the first 10 win season for Ashland since they won state back in 1990.

Respect your opinion but I don't think it's fully accurate. TJ Whetstine Senior WR/DB 6'4 215 had 3TD's and 2 INT's vs Greenup Co. Dalton Tucker OT/DT D1 Signee with Marshall and made the All State Bluegrass Team as a starter. Dalen Landrum JR QB has thrown for over 2,000 yards and 20 TD's. Not saying Ashland won't win but they will NOT beat Bourbon by 3 or 4 TD's. Keep overlooking the Colonels.

Seriously, just giving you a hard time. Congrats to the Tomcats on the win and congrats to Bourbon County on a good season.

I don't think most understand how good Ashland's defense is.

Or for as small in size and height how hard Ashland will hit you.

Bourbon too me looked bigger then Central in the trenches but as most games this season Ashland was way more physical then the bigger opponent.

JC has the largest group of linemen I've seen in a long time. Next week will be a war between two really good 4A teams.

As big as they are, they fall short of the size Belfry possessed last year. That was simply unreal.

I haven't had the chance to see Belfry recently. I do know JC has some large kids.

Tough schedules as well as this is a really good Ashland team. It's not easy to win 10 games a year if you're playing against schools that are larger.

Ashland held Bourbon County to 10 yards rushing on 20 carries.
