It's that time of year again. The seemingly annual playoff rematch between Paintsville and Raceland is upon us.

 

Raceland had better not wait until the 2nd half to show up like they did tonight against Paris or in the regular season meeting versus Paintsville.

Low scoring affair, I like Paintsville in a close one, 12-7 Tigers.

I will say the same thing now as I did a few weeks ago.... Paintsville, imo, is one of If Not The Toughest Place in the State of KY. for any visiting team to go into and get a win ! That, in jmo is true for a few reasons, with the main one being that the Tigers are Very Good.

Can Raceland win ? Of Course , but that will no doubt take by far the best football that the Rams have played all this season.

If Raceland wants to win this game they need a good opening drive to score or at least make that Paintsville offense work the whole field. The defense needs to get stops early and not let Paintsville build a lead. If Paintsville gets a two score lead then I think they win. If his games close I like Racelands chances. Paintsville is 1-1 in close games.

I am pulling for Raceland but I think Paintsville wins the rematch.
